Green Screen Backdrop
Green Software

1 Set up background and make sure you use clips to ensure

most hard wrinkles are out. If shooting full body I use a 10 x
12 Green Screen Background. I raise the back drop about 8
feet in the air and drape about 4 feet on the floor.

2 Now set up your camera and tripod about 4 or 5 feet away

from backdrop floor edge Or 8-9 feet from Backdrop Stands

3 Set up lights on stands with soft boxes or umbrellas and plug

in you remote to wireless triggers the flash heads or if you
prefer use wired remotes.

4 Important part is light placement

I use 2 front lights
Rule of thumb place the lights even with the camera tripod
or slightly behind the camera and even with the 2 outside
edges of the background

5 Also use a hair light. My hair light I like to mount on top of

my green screen and aim towards the subject head and
bleed down their back and legs. This eliminate's green bleed
through fuzzy blond hair.
Sometimes I use a 4th light and mount that one the camera
stand under the camera aim at their feet and legs. This
eliminate's dark shadows with couples and groups (the fourth
light is just a fill light I usually set at the lowest setting.

Tips & Warnings

I use Alien Bee 800 strobes and settings change from place to place
