2. What did he tell his friend Rudy one day?

A. One day he told his friend Rudy that he was
going to make a pair of wings to fly with.

3. Why did Lenny need Rudy’s help?

A. Lenny needed Rudy’s help as the wings he
made were a little heavy and he needed his help to drag
them up to the top of Southern Hill.

4. What happened when Lenny tried to fly for the first

time?
A. When Lenny tried to fly for the first time, as
he ran the weight of the wings started to tire his legs
and he ran slower and slower. Just as he reached the

the ground on his face.

wax and balsa wood and they looked just like birds’
wings.

7. Why did Lenny crash into the trees?

Sun was starting to melt the wax he had used to make
the wings. He realised that his wings had become very
small and he was flying downwards. Soon Lenny crashed
into the trees.

8. Why did Lenny decide to stop trying to fly?

A. Lenny decided to stop trying to fly because
