1.1 Power on

1 Turning the server on and off


Only perform power-related operations when required, for example, when server maintenance is performed,
problem occurs, or in the instance of a scheduled power outage.
The server power operations must be carried out by the administrator user.

1.1 Power on
% Press the Power On button.

Power On

The server starts.


NOTICE
When the bezel is mounted on the server, remove it before pressing the Power On button.
You can check the operational status of the server by checking the LED of the Power On button.
- Lit up (green): The system is turned on.
- Flashing (green): The power-on sequence is in process.
- Lit up (amber): The system is in standby mode.
- Turn-off: The main power is turned off.

1.2 Shutdown
% Execute the "poweroff" command from the console using root privileges to turn the server off.
The server is turned off.

2 Removing and mounting the bezel
% For the key to unlock and lock the bezel, contact your administrator.

7WARNING
The surface is hot.
- After the components in the drive or system have completely cooled, touch the bezel with your hand.
A burn could result.

7CAUTION
Correctly connect the ground cable to the server before starting the mounting procedure.
- Otherwise, an electrostatic discharge may occur, which may damage electronic parts.
