1. For two minutes, the individual was seated quietly to be completely relaxed.

In medicine, a pulse represents the tactile arterial palpation of the cardiac cycle (heartbeat) by trained

When you exercise, including running, your heart rate will increase, meaning that your pulse will
become faster because your body is under physical stress. When under stress, your heart must pump
more blood containing oxygen and nutrients throughout your body, which is why your pulse increases.

In conclusion, the pulse rate before exercise was 75 and after exercise it was 94

Reflection:

This was not much of a fun activity for me to do since I was out of breath by just walking. I knew I was
totally unfit by just running up and down one flight of stairs. This exercise also helped me understand
exactly where I have to put my two finger tips to check my pulse rate on my wrist.

The heart is a muscular organ that pumps blood through the blood vessels of the circulatory system. The
pumping actin of the heart maintains a constant circulation of blood around the body.
