Flood

Flooding is an overflowing of water onto land that is normally dry. This is a natural
phenomenon that often occurs in Indonesia. Floods can happen during heavy rains, when
ocean waves come on shore, when snow melts quickly. Floods can happen because of human
activities too, which is a buildup of garbage carried out by residents into the river. Damaging
flooding may happen with only a few inches of water, or it may cover a house to the rooftop.
Floods often occur in the lowlands. Floods occur when rain falls on the ground and is
held back by vegetation, after which it enters the soil surface and flows to a lower place.
After this process evaporation occurs over the surface of the land causing flooding.
Floods can disturb humans because they can damage the environment where they live.
This can interfere with the continuity of human life. So, let's start from now , make it a habit
not to throw garbage carelessly into the river so that flooding doesn't happen.

The Process of Rain

Rain is liquid precipitation: water falling from the sky. Millions of water droplets
bump into each other as they gather in a cloud. When the water droplet becomes too heavy to
continue floating around in the cloud, it falls to the ground. Rain falls at different rates in
different parts of the world. Dry desert regions can get less than a centimeter (0.4 inches) of
rain every year, while tropical rain forests receive more than a meter (3.2 feet).
The water cycle consists of three major processes. The first one is evaporation, which
is the process of a liquid's surface changing to a gas. In the water cycle, liquid water (in the
ocean, lakes, or rivers) evaporates and becomes water vapor. The second one is
Condensation, which is the process of a gas changing to a liquid. In the water cycle, water
vapor in the atmosphere condenses and becomes liquid. The last one is Precipitation, which is
any liquid or frozen water that forms in the atmosphere and falls back to the earth. It comes in
many forms, like rain, sleet, and snow.
