The Pain of Love Lost

Love, a beautiful emotion,

Fills our hearts with pure devotion.
But when it's gone, the pain is real,
And it's hard to know just how to feel.

The memories we shared, so sweet,

Now haunt us as we try to sleep.
The laughter, joy, and tender touch,
Are replaced with tears that hurt so much.

We try to move on, to start anew,

But the pain of love lost, it just won't do.
We hold onto hope, that someday we'll find,
A love that's true, and alway s kind.

But until then, we'll carry on,

With a heavy heart, and a mournful song.
For love and loss go hand in hand,
