Dear Cynthia,

How are you and your family, hope everybody is doing great? It has been long I
spoke or seen you because of this covid 19 pandemic, hope you are safe? Just wanted to write to
you to tell you about all I went through and the experiences I had during the covid 19 pandemic
lockdown.
It has been decades since the world had been affected by a virus as much as it has
now. At first when the lockdown was pronounced, I was very excited because I won’t be going to
school anymore at least for a period of time. I do go to club every Fridays, to the beach on
Saturdays and to the cinemas on Sundays to see some latest movies with friends, it was filled with
fun. But as time goes on, the covid 19 keeps escalating and the lockdown was turning into
something else.
The first three month I stayed at home during nothing, I became extremely bored
with everything around me and errands at home were too much. I then decided to find something
doing in order to get busy with my life and also to kill the boredom.
I enrolled in catering school where I learnt how to make pastries and cocktails;
pastries (sharwama, pizza, samosa, spring roll, etc.) pastries (chapman, punche, dark rum).
After I finished my catering school, I enrolled with Albert Institute of Technology a
computer school, to become a computer literate. The atmospheres is accommodating and have
learnt a lot in a short period time through the help of my teacher Mr. Abel, I also made new
friends.
We love to see you as soon as possible, send my regards to you parents and stay
safe.

Yours Faithfully
