1. What is language?
For me language is a tool or a medium that we can use in exchanging our thoughts and
ideas about something. By this, we can communicate and we need to communicate for us to
grow as a person with enough knowledge. As what I have learned before, language is one of
the tools for communication so it means that there are more tools or medium that we can use in
communicating and exchanging words for new ideas.

2. What is language acquisition?

Language acquisition is a process in which a person is learning his/her first language by
adapting on the language that they are using in a certain place. It does not necessarily
concern with sentence construction and the use of proper grammar. Language acquisition is
also considered as our mother tongue language.

3. How important is language learning?

As we live in this world, we need to learn especially the language that we are using and
for the language that we are going to use. It is very important to learn the language because
by learning the language you are aware on how to use the language itself. If you want to
learn the language of that certain area, you need to study first the culture because
language and culture are interconnected.
