Field ofthe Invention ‘The present invention relates to elliptical machines and ‘more particularly, to a pedal motion path adjustable elliptical trainer, which allows change of pedal motion paths 2. Description ofthe Related Art. ‘An Elliptical trainer isa stationary exercise machine wed to simulate walking that moves along a smooth, elliptical path, Elliptical trainers offer @ non-impact cardiovascular workout that can help you each your health and fitness goals. “The pedal motio pats of conveational litical trainers are ‘constant, hence, the entre exercise will seem tedious, and ‘will be unable to tinal diferent muscles ofthe leps “Taiwan Patent 1294294 discloses an elliptical trainer ‘entiled “LEG-TRAINING ELLIPTICAL MACHINE”, ‘whieh uses a screw rod of a slope contol mechanism 0 ‘control movement of a female screw member, causing the female screw member tobias a drag bar. Whea biasing the ‘drag bar, the angle of a ral holder is changed relative tothe floor to adjust the slope of the pedal motion paths. Further, “Taiwan Patent M403355 discloses a liting mechanism for an lipival tniner, which uses a retrctable md of a Tinear sctuator to adjust the angular position ofa if frame relative to the flor, thereby changing the pedal motion paths. The aforesaid two prorat patents allows conte of the elevation ‘ofppedals to change the motion paths of sliding bars subject 10 different requirements from different users. However, the ‘axis of rotation ofeach pedal is kept in parallel tothe refe- ‘ence axis ofthe rotating mechanism assembly. When viewed from the top side, the left and right pedals can be simply biased in a front-tear direction Ths, only’ smal par of the muscles ofthe legscan be rained during exercise resulting in poor effets of exercise. In order to improve the drawbacks of the aforesaid two prior at designs, Taiwan Patent M&O7086 lscloses an elliptical trainer entitled “Improved stecture of| fimess elliptical machine” which usestwosliding guide rails <0 to-control varationof the sliding motion path. Thetwostiding side als are formed of one single tubular member tha is beat into predetermine, shape defining a parallel part and splayed part. However, this design simply allows the machine to perform one specific motion model. Ifthe user wishes to 45 ‘change the outward expansion angle, the user must purchase ‘2 difleremt model of eliptical wainer ora diferent type of| Sliding rails, causing so much inconvenience » ‘SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION 0 “The present iavention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide a pedal motion path adjustable elliptical trainer whic allows quick adjustment of the pedal motion ss paths, so thatthe user ean pedal the pedals to move along respective front and back-biased mation paths and respective left and rght-biased motion paths, raining different muscles of the legs ‘To achieve this object of the present invention, a pod motion path adjustable elliptical trainer comprises a base fame, a rotating mechanism assembly, a lifting mechanism, suppor link seta control mectuanism, ada siding mecha- nism. The base frame is mounted on a support surface. The rotating mechanism assembly comprises 'o cranks comxi- ally pivoted to the base frame for performing a closed-pah motion. The lifting mechanism comprises a rail ker, s 2 support member, and evo sliding cals. The rail holder is pivoially connected to thebase frame, and biasable relative to the base frame, The rl holder comprises two fist stop por- tions and two second stop portions. Each sliding rail com prises pivot portion and sliding portion. The pivot portion 's pivoted to the support member. The sling portion is coupled to the rail holder an movable berween one espec= tive first stop portion and one respective second stop portion, ach suppor link comprises frst end portion and a second end portion. The first end portions pivoted to one respective crank. The second end portion is slidably coupled to one respective sling ral. The linkage mechanism set comprises ‘wo handlebars and two Tinks. The handlebars are respec- tively pivotally mouated at opposite left and righ sides ofthe base frame, The links have the espectve two opposite eas thereof respectively pivotally coupled between the handle- bars and the second end portions of the support link set. The control mechanism is mounted between the base frame and the ai holder, and adapted to conto the angle of deflection ofthe ling mechanism, The sliding mechanisms pivotally coupled between the conto! mechanism and the rail holder forenabling the sliding portions ofthesliing rilsto moveon the rail holder relative to each ater, ‘Thus, subject to vertical swinging motion of the lifting mechanism and lateral displacement of the sliding mecha- nism, the pedal motion path adjustable elliptical trainer cnables the user's legs to meve along respective front and baek-biased motion paths and respective ll and right-hiase ‘motion paths training diferent muscles of the Teg. Other advantages and features ofthe present invention will be filly understood by reerence othe following spec tion ia coajuaction with the accompanying drawings, in hic ike reereace signs denote like components of struc- ture [BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is an oblique let top elevational view of pedal ‘motion path adjustable elliptical trainer in accordance with the present invention, FIG. 2isaleltside view ofthe pedal motion pathadjustable ollptcal trainer in accordance withthe present invention.
