1) You must always choose Multifactor Authentication for logging in
to your Bank Account, Social Networking or all Account’s which
you are using on the Virtual Space.
2) Never share your Debit card and Credit card Credentials on
Browser and any Digital Wallet.
3) You should always verify the Bank Account Holder before making
any payment through UPI
4) Always use Genuine and Authentic Website – tips for Choosing
genuine and authentic website
a) Always Look “https” in the URL (Address bar)of the site
b) Always check Lock Icon in the Address Bar
5) You must Always Keep Operating System and Application
Software updated.
6) User must use Strong and Long Password with Password Manager
Application. In Password user need to use lowercase, uppercase
,number, Special Character. And change your password regularly
after certain period.
7) User Must Install Licensed copy Antivirus and Firewall.
8) If user Find any Link or Attachment Suspicious then don’t click on
that link or attachment’s.
9) Please always check your Financial Statements and Credit Report
regularly.
10) You must be Alert with Red Flags like Grammar and
Spelling Mistakes, Wrong Names of Government Department,
Reused Images.
11) User must be Aware and Stay Away From Key Logger .
12) You Always go for Choosing the “WPA 2” Enable for WIFI
SECUIRTY.
13) Always Keep Back up Of Your computer or Mobile Data.
14) Always Enable POP-UP Blockers on all Browsers.

knowing the Authenticity of the content of Message.
17) Always be Cautious of any Email Attachments that Advises
you to enable macros in MS OFFICER TO view its Content.
18) Please Avoid Chatting with Stranger over the internet
because Cyber criminals are always looking for innocent Victims.
19) Please don’t click on the Hyperlinks asking for “VERIFY
YOUR ACCOUNT” or Login in any Email or Account.
20) Please don’t keep same Password for all Accounts.
21) You should not Transfer Money to Person who is not met
you in person.
22) Please don’t pay Ransom, Rather invest some time and
resources in to creating backup.
23) Please do not Provide information to Unknown, Unverified,
Unreliable, unsolicited phone calls, Messages or Texts specially
bank account number, OTP (ONE TIME PIN) ETC.
24) Don’t reply to “SPAM” Emails
25) This tip specially for Girls/ Ladies Please don’t post Personal
Information, Photos on social Networking Sites.
26) Please Girls / Ladies don’t “CHECKIN” while using social
Networking Sites because you live location is known to every one .
27) You must not accept stranger/ Unknown Persons Friend
Request on Facebook or Instagram Request.

Computers or while using Public WIFI Networks.
30) Always remember to log off from your online banking
Portal/website after completing an online transaction with your
credit card/ Debit card.
31) Always delete the browsing data of your web Browser

online banking activity.
32) Always ensure that credit or Debit card swipes at point of
sales done in your Presence to avoid cloning/unauthorized copying
of your card information .Do not let the sales person take your card
away to swipe for the transaction.
33) It is necessary that you should keep your PIN Secrete and
close your transaction before walking away from the ATM
machine. If there is any suspicious, cancel your transaction and
walk away immediately.
34) Always verify and install Authentic e-wallet apps directly
from app store on your smart phone. Do not follow the links shared
over email, SMS or Social media to install e-wallet apps.
35) Never pay for the Job and Beware of the e-mails which offer
jobs in Exchange of Money as such emails are SPAM. No
organization/ company ever asks for money to work for them.
36) While Chatting on Matrimonial website please do not share
your Persona Information and avoid talking to Person if he/she
Pressurizes you to reveal your personal information .always
Refrain from sharing your personal information such as numbers,
email ID, address etc. until you are completely sure and have done
a thorough background Check.
37) On Matrimonial Site never Entertain any request for money.
Please do not transfer funds or offer financial help to Prospective
Match.
38) On Matrimonial Site Be cautious while dealing with NRI
Profile.
39) Always keep Location Service turned Off on your devices
unless necessary.
40) Pease Do not announce your vacation Plans on Social Media
because Criminals can use it an opportunity for theft.
