Product Information
Designed for ,oating ,oor materials, QuietWalk's recycled 9laments are specially processed to
cushion the ,oor, absorbing sound and reducing unwanted noise. This helps make ,oating ,oors
sound more like fastened wood and helps to keep sound from traveling to other rooms. Although it
can be installed over wood or concrete sub,oors, QuietWalk can manage moisture that surfaces in
the form of vapors that naturally come up from concrete sub,oors with its exclusive DriWick™
technology.

Since QuietWalk and concrete are both "breathable" capillary products, vapors that are emitted will
never accumulate under the pad into harmful moisture. The DriWick™ technology will wick away
harmful moisture while the attached vapor barrier protects the overlying ,ooring from any attacking
moisture. With QuietWalk ,ooring underlayment you get better moisture protection, as the 9bers
manage harmful moisture concerns.

Available in 3' x 33.4' (100 sq ft) or 6' x 60' (360 sq ft) Rolls

Superior Sound Reduction - Recycled 9bers absorb sound and keep it from
traveling to other rooms. Makes click-together ,oating ,oors sound solid
underfoot.

Moisture Protection - Recycled 9bers allow installation over concrete to “breathe”

- managing vapors from becoming bulk moisture. The attached vapor barrier
protects the overlying ,oors from harmful moisture.

Compression Resistant - Dense recycled 9ber structure supports the click-

together mechanism and will uphold its supportive con9guration under the
consistent traSc of the overlying ,oor.

Smoothing Out Imperfections - Firm and supportive but ,exible enough to form
around sub,oor surface roughness, helps to cut down on extra sub,oor surface
prepping time.

Insulating Value - Provides additional comfort to the entire home during seasonal
temperature changes.

Approved for In-Floor Heating Systems - Allows heat to permeate evenly while
helping to protect the ,oor covering material from thermal shock.

Made From Recycled Material - A patented manufacturing process repurposes

post-industrial and pre and post consumer materials into high-performance
underlayment.

Certi>ed Clean and Safe Indoor Air Quality - No VOC's (Volatile Organic
Compounds) or off-gassing from materials.

Competitively Priced - An ideal upgrade from 2-in-1 polyethylene or polystyrene

products and is less costly than most frothed foam, cork or rubber underlayment
with similar sound numbers.

IIC is a measure of how much impact sound (walking, kids playing, etc.) is reduced after traveling
