REACTION PAPER
“PRINCIPLE OR PERSONALITY”

I consequently come to the conclusion after seeing the video to choose principle
over personality since I do believe that principle is similar to a life rule. When you are
guided by a clear principle, you may decide how you want to act in any given
circumstance. You will be able to tell if you have acted morally as long as you stick to
your principles. Most of us don't really think about these principles until we're forced to.
They are invisible to us because they are a product of our childhood and experiences in
life.

Principles help you lead a life to your full potential while letting those around you
know how to get along with you. You feel assured and in control when you act in a way
that is aligned with your principles. You feel confident that what you are doing is genuine
and ethical. If you don't follow your principles, you could feel guilty, anxious, or even
stressed. Your principles serve others as well as yourself since they provide them with
guidelines and standards for how they can relate and interact with you. Even though our
beliefs may not always align, when we are aware of one another's principles, we may
better manage our interactions to make sure that we can cooperate for our mutual
advantage. People you engage with frequently will recognize and acknowledge your
principles when you let them know how you will likely respond in a specific
circumstance. They are unlikely to request you to do something that goes against your
principles if they're aware of it.
