CRICKETS

Crickets are insects that have a small body, they have a cylindrical body. The head is almost
round,and have two antennae near their eyes. Has 3 pairs of legs, and the hind legs are used for
jumping. Crickets are insects that have a distinctive sound. The sound of "krik krik" is familiar to
most Indonesian people, this sound is made by male crickets to attract the attention of female
crickets.
This insect is an animal that is active at night, so the sounds made by male crickets can be
heard clearly and get louder when night falls. Crickets usually live among the grass, but there
are also other types of crickets that live in the bushes. Crickets also live in the ground and
caves; some dig shallow or deep holes in the ground, some just hide behind piles of rocks or
weathered wood.
Crickets belong to edible insects and are known in many countries. In rural Java, roasted
crickets have long been used as a traditional snack. Crickets are also known as a food source of
protein in other countries, especially in Asia. Crickets have many benefits, they can be used as
bait for fishing or feeding our pet birds.
Not surprisingly, many people are interested in cultivating these insects. And then, the
method of raising crickets is also not difficult, so you can apply it easily.
