Water Supply Services Agreement

This agreement is made at Multan on 19th day of December 2022

BY AND BETWEEN

National Highway Authority, having its Head Office at

______________________________________________________________________________

______________________________________________________________________________
(which term wherever occur in these presents shall mean and include its successors-in-
interest, executors and assigns)

AND

Serani Brothers & Co, a sole proprietorship having its Head Office at Opposite PSO
Petrol Pump Near Nag Shah Chowk Muzerffer Garh Road, Multan (hereinafter referred
to as “SINE WATER”, which term wherever occur in these presents shall mean and
include its heirs, successors and assigns)

Now the agreement witness as follows

1. Supply of Mineral Water:

• SHINE WATER will supply Mineral Water in 19 liters bottles on request, to the
specified HIGHWAY AUTHORITY’s business locations in complete compliance of
quality, hygiene controls and as per the standards of PSQCA, ISO and WHO at the
Rate of Rs.120/- inclusive of all taxes.

• For the purpose, the HIGHWAY AUTHORITY business locations will be

communicated by the authorized staff of Administration Department.

• SHINE WATER will supply mineral water to the specified business locations on
every second day or daily or twice a week only on working days before 1600 hrs.

• If any disturbing situation or any security risk arises or any strike call announced
the supply should be completed a day earlier by refilling all empty bottles at
required locations.

• During delivery SHINE WATER’s delivery staff must wear Company Staff Card.

• On each delivery, the staff of SHINE WATER will obtain the signature of Branch
Manager or Operation Manager or any authorized staff of Branch/Office with duly
bank’s stamp.

2. Supply of Dispenser:
• SHINE WATER will provide Brand-New Hot & Cold Dispenser’s to all HIGHWAY
AUTHORITY business locations specified/communicated for supply of mineral
water, on complementary basis (i.e. free of cost) with understanding for Quarterly
Services.

• If any Repair and Service maintenance is required, the response time will be 5 to 7
Working Days and in case dispenser is found irreparable or need to move to
company workshop the replacement will be provided by SHINE WATER.

• No service or visit charges will be paid by HIGHWAY AUTHORITY for the services
provided by the SHINE WATER for maintaining the dispensers in order Only
Replacement of Compressor & Gas Charges will be paid by HIGHWAY
AUTHORITY.
3. Monthly Billing:
• SHINE WATER will submit all its bills, relevant to the supply of mineral water, to the
Administration Department on monthly basis along with the “delivery challans”
after getting verification thereupon from all relevant branches/offices & HIGHWAY
AUTHORITY will pay within 15 days of time period from the date of Submition of
bills to Admin Department.

4. Lab Test:
• SHINE WATER will provide “cultural report” of lab test of the mineral water being
supplied to the HIGHWAY AUTHORITY business locations on semi-annually basis.
• Regardless of the semi-annually lab test report, the HIGHWAY AUTHORITY has the
right to ask SHINE WATER for making necessary arrangement for Lab Test to
provide the “Culture report” as and when desired, against the supply of water.
• These lab tests will be conducted by any of the recognized Laboratory/Institution.
• The charges of any such lab test will be borne by SHINE WATER.

5. Termination:
• The bank has right to terminate this agreement at any time, if it’s found that the
service or the mineral water being provided is not up to the mark or required
standard; and in case of receipt of any negative lab test report.
• In case of termination of this agreement by HIGHWAY AUTHORITY, HIGHWAY
AUTHORITY will pay for Damages/Loss of Water bottles & for Hot & Cold Water
Dispensers

6. Security Deposit:
• No security deposit will be paid by HIGHWAY AUTHORITY for the bottles and/or
dispensers, nevertheless in case of damage/loss of bottle and/or dispenser the
HIGHWAY AUTHORITY will pay Rs.700/- and/or Rs. 21,000/- respectively, to the
SHINE WATER

7. Delivery Schedule:
• The SHINE WATER will finalize the delivery schedule with the consultation of the
contact/authorized staff of the specified HIGHWAY AUTHORITY business locations
and share with the Administration’ authorized staff under acknowledgement.

8. Quality Standards:
• The SHINE WATER is responsible to maintain quality standards as per the
requirement and the guidelines issued by Pakistan Standards Quality Control
Authority (PSQCA) all the time.

9. Validity
This agreement will be expired on 31 December 2023

10. Communication
All the communications to be made by one party to the other party pursuant to this
Agreement shall be in writing, shall be addressed be addressed for the attention of the
person indicated below, and shall either be delivered personally, sent by courier or by
registered or certified mail or facsimile. The addresses for the communications shall be
