Support of Ukrainian exports from the side of the EU

In June 2022, the European Parliament and the European Council approved the relevant regulation No.
2022/870. In order to help Ukrainian manufacturers and exporters to "bear the burden of the war", the EU
suspended for one year for Ukraine:

 duties for industrial products

 input price system for fruits and vegetables;
 all tariff quotas for agricultural products;
 anti-dumping duties on goods originating in Ukraine;
 the application of global protective measures to Ukrainian goods.

"Ways of solidarity"

To support Ukrainian exports and the Ukrainian economy, on May 12, 2022, EU countries in general also
created the "Paths of Solidarity" initiative, which simplifies ground logistics.

"Ways of solidarity" are important corridors for Ukrainian agricultural exports, as well as for the export and
import of other goods.

"Ways of solidarity " is currently the only option for exporting all other, non-agricultural Ukrainian goods to
the rest of the world and importing all goods Ukraine needs, such as fuel and humanitarian aid. Thus, the
"ways of solidarity" became a vital communication for the economy of Ukraine, returning more than 15
billion euros of much-needed income to Ukrainian farmers and businesses.

In order to improve the functioning of the "Ways of solidarity", the EU cooperates with the Member States,
Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, international partners and companies, as well as transport operators.
Bordering EU member states Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary have made huge efforts and invested
heavily to facilitate these trade routes.
