Snapshot:
Kevin Kaneta, who has been bullied since the third grade, was born with cerebral palsy,
a neurological disorder that affects body movement and muscle coordination. During an
interview with a Denver, Colo. television station, he shared his experience as a bullying
target since the third grade, and each year, it gets worse.

Kevin who said “They go after me because they see me as a vulnerable target” walks
slower than most children and drags his feet because of his disability. Tyleen Wilson,
who is his mother, fears for his safety each day at school. “I worry if he’ll come home
today,” said Wilson. “What if they really hurt him?”

Wilson stated she’s notified school administrators, that did nothing, as well as the
Colorado media, that her son’s classmates have tripped and pinned him down and force
fed dog food into his mouth. In late December 2010, Wilson noticed a Facebook picture,
in which Kevin has his sweatshirt tied tightly around his face, that enraged her.

“I thought it was a joke,” she said. “I prodded Kevin to tell me about the picture.” Kevin’s
classmates had tied his sweatshirt tightly around his face and forced him to walk around
the playground, barely able to see through the small opening. After taunting and
teasing, the kids ripped the sweatshirt off, cutting his eyelids.

Another picture that showed Kevin against the playground fence trying to break free
with both arms of the sweatshirt tied to the fence post went viral. “They just watched me
struggle to get out,” said Kevin. “They put it on Facebook and now everyone knows it.”

Relative clauses:
these are clauses used to describe a noun in a similar way that adjectives do. There are
two types of relative clauses: defining and non-defining.

- Defining relative clauses:

We use defining relative clauses to give essential information about someone or
something – information that we need in order to understand what or who is being
referred to. A defining relative clause usually comes immediately after the noun it
describes.

The officer that was accused for raising a stick against outstretched hands will be fired
soon.

- Non-defining relative clauses

We use non-defining relative clauses to give extra information about the person or thing.
It is not necessary information. We don’t need it to understand who or what is being
referred to.

The word ‘exterminates’, which comes from ‘terminate’, means to end something.

different meanings.
