The Happenchance of Happenstance

The thin air of vague curiosity scraped me like a hollow wind.

I strayed into the beautiful pallet of paint and let the tricolor hold me up.
My soul danced to its melody, and bliss rushed through my veins.
The world around me ceased to move and began to bloom with curiosity.
I leaped, twirled, and tripped.
Hah, An unusual feeling I whisper to myself as my eyes welcome slumber.
I woke up to an emotion unknown to me, The pallet I held so close to,
my pit washed away its paint. I laughed. I wept. I snuggled close to my
pillow and yelled at the stars. I cried, and they answered.
My pallet was painted yellow and blue with a tint of white.
I learned it was for my good,
So I joined its company.

This time, I acted the fool.

My pallet was filled with sapphic.
It was strange but appealing,
The euphoric rush of contentment comes
and splashes on my face. I laughed. I smiled.

But joy is eating me up.
