To what extent does teaching grammar help learners to be competent with the English
language?

Grammar is the guiding principle of the learners to construct meaningful sentences.

Hence, teaching grammar to the learners is advantageous when it comes to
communicating both orally and in written form. Not only their vocabulary will be
enlarged but also improve their listening skills. Learners can be able to express
themselves fluently in speaking English and other languages simply because they would
be able to lessen the mistakes.
