4 objectives of the project

1.4.2 General objectives
The project's main goal is to create an intelligent and automatic fake news detection system that will
play a significant role in decreasing the problem that has become vital problem in recent years which is
the spreading of fake news. The proposed system is aiming to detect fake news before it spreads
reaches vast majority of people.

1.4.2 Specific Objective

The specific objective of the project includes the following:

• To present more reliable news to the readers.

• To increase reliability and credibility label of news articles, creators and subjects
simultaneously.
• To decrease conflicts that are based on fake news.
• To identify and filter false news from the real ones.

1.5 Feasibility Analysis

1.5.1 Operational Feasibility
This project is operationally feasible in the sense that since it is a machine learning system we are
training the computer to perform the tasks. So the filtering process of the real from the fake news is
done by the computer. Since it is flexible to apply by integrating the system with any news
broadcasting websites and various social media platforms we can easily eliminate fake news from
spreading.

1.5.2 Economic Feasibility

This project is economically feasible in the sense that by filtering and eliminating the fake news
automatically it will reduce the cost of manual validator. Not only this it will also reduce the property
distractions caused by conflicts based on false or fake news. And since news is time-oriented it can’t be
validated manually because it is time consuming by the time the news is validated it will already be
spreading, but by integrating and using this system we can automatically detect and eliminate the fake
news.

1.5.3 Political Feasibility

We all know that most of the time fake news is subjected for a political agendas to cause distractions
by targeting politicians and their political organizations. But this system plays a role by eliminating
those fake news’s so by using this system the peace stabilizing process can be taken one step forward

1.6.1 Scope
The scope of our project is not strictly limited only to a single news broadcasting website or app but for
any online news releasing platform starting from social medias to personal blogs and broadcasting
website so by integrating this system on anything anywhere on the internet reliability and credibility
can be ensured.

1.6.2 Limitations
Limitation describes the shortcomings that the proposed system will not be able perform.
Those shortcomings are:
• The system is not stand-alone, which means in order for the system to perform its intended
operations it should be embedded and integrated on existing social medias or news broadcasting
websites.
• The system is only limited to the english language.
• The system only analyzes and filter text formatted news but not other formats like audio and
videos.
• It does not have full 100% accuracy

1.7 Target beneficiaries of the system

The system has various benefits for news anchors, readers and government.
News anchors:
Just by apply the system on their platforms news anchors can increase their credibility and reliability by
readers of their news.

Readers:
readers benefit by reading real news from those reliable news sources.

Government:
since using this system will help filtering those fake news’s that might cause conflicts the government
indirectly benefits from the system in maintaining the peace.
In general, the proposed system has various different benefits:
 It reduce the time and cost that would have been used to validate the news.
 Create more simple and automatic way of filtering news.
 Helps create fake news free online environment.
