GOING TO

O going to é uma estrutura gramatical utilizada no inglês para indicar ações futuras.
Ele é utilizado quando já há uma decisão sobre o que vai ser feito; há uma certeza de que
determinada ação será realizada.
Sendo assim, para falar de uma ação que já está planejada e irá acontecer em breve
(futuro próximo), utiliza-se o futuro com going to.

REGRAS DE USO DO GOING TO

Forma afirmativa (affirmative form)


Sujeito + verbo to be (is/am/are) + going to + infinitivo do verbo principal sem o “to”

Exemplos:

 I am going to have an exam tomorrow. (Eu terei uma prova amanhã.)


 Bob and I are going to be on vacation in July. (Bob e eu estaremos de férias em
julho.)

Forma negativa (negative form)


Sujeito + verbo to be (is/am/are) + not + going to + infinitivo do verbo principal sem o “to”

Exemplos:

 I am not going to have an exam tomorrow. (Eu não terei prova amanhã.)
 Bob and I are not going to be on vacation in July. (Bob e eu não estaremos de férias
em julho.)

Forma interrogativa (interrrogative form)


Verbo to be (am/is/are) + sujeito + going to + infinitivo do verbo principal sem o “to”

Exemplos:
 Am I going to have an exam tomorrow? (Eu terei prova amanhã?)
 Are Bob and I going to be on vacation in July? (Bob e eu estaremos de férias em
julho?)
