Learning Objective(s): Students will be able to:

-Evaluate the Argument and specific claim in the Time article


“Surveillance Society,” including the reasoning as well as the relevancy
and sufficiency of the evidence through the use of graphic organizer

-Cite Strong textual evidence supporting or refuting the illusion of


privacy while completing the graphic organizer

-Analyze an author’s claim and the validity of them in relation to the


argument presented in the article.

-Produce a well written essay with definitive arguments that are


supported by the evidence in the article as well as the students’ own
conclusions.
