SUMMARY OF FAIR’S FAIR

This is a story of friendship and determination of 3 good friends Lee, Sam and Raj. They are
best friends whose live in the same road and were neighbour. One day, Raj announces that a
fair has come to town and his father has agreed to take the three of them to the fair. This
brings so much excitement to the three children as they really want to go on a pirate ship,
riding ferry wheels and eat away candy floss. Sam asked her father’s permission and he was
was agreeable with the trip. Unfortunately, Lee is the only who does not get the permission
from his mother to go to the fair as she doesn’t have any money to give him. Lee told his
friends that he could not go to the fair because he did not have the money. Sam had an idea
to get some money for Lee. She suggested that they do some jobs for their parents.
Therefore, the three friends decide to find three jobs to make money such as wash car, do
the shopping and take a dog for a walk. They washed Sam's dad's car but ended up making a
mess and so were not paid. They walked Mrs Green's dog and were paid a pound. However,
a ball bitten by a dog. So Lee use the one pound to pay for a ball. Lee was feeling sad
because he did not make any money. However, luck rolls along as the children come across a
purse on the ground. Lee is excited over the unexpected stepped on cash, but he is honest
enough to return to the rightful owner. In the end, the owner rewards him with 5 pounds.
The three kids were very happy because they are able to enjoy themselves at the fair.
