Text-types are the basic types of writing. They can be categorized as factual or literary. They
can be expressed to entertain, to inform or to persuade. Description,
sequence/instruction/process, cause-and-effect, compare/contrast, and problem/solution are
the structures of text-types.
I. Most of the pupils in Grade 4-Masunurin forget to bring their window drill cards. Mrs.
Lontoc provides cards for the others.
II. The Sanggunian Barangay announces curfew at 6 pm for children ages 12 and below
starting the first day of school to let the pupils focus on their assignments and not play on the
