Part 3: Translation

Translate the following passage into Urdu. [Total: 20]

Waving the latest issue of a magazine or screaming the headlines of the newspapers, newspaper
hawkers are a regular feature at every major traffic crossing. Let’s take a look into a routine day
in a hawker’s life. Let’s call him Abid; he is 27 years old and has been selling newspapers since the
last 10 years. He starts out before 6:00 a.m., collects the bundles from the depot and goes off for
his morning round on his old bicycle. Then he heads home to leave his cycle and takes bus to the
depot to buy his share of the evening papers, which he sells at a busy downtown crossing. Unsold
papers mean a loss to Abid who works nearly 14 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is also a risky job
as he has to move skillfully through the traffic and cannot afford to get injured as it means a
double loss: no sales plus medical charges. Life is tough for Abid yet you will see him, and other
newspaper hawkers, always greeting you with a smile.
