ABOUT US:
Bishop Cotton Women's Christian Law College, Bengaluru is the only Law
College in Karnataka imparting legal education exclusively for women to
instill the values of the cause of women more in the minds of young girls and
to empower them. This exclusive institution was inaugurated on 14th July,
2002 and offers B.B.A., LL.B (5 Year Integrated Law Course) and LL.B (3
Year Course). This College is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University,
Hubbali, recognised by Government of Karnataka and approved by the Bar
Council of India and is registered under UGC 2F. The college is managed by
the Board of Management of Karnataka Central Diocese of Church of South
India, under the constant support of our Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Prasanakumar
Samuel and Professor Dr. Indirani K S, Principal In-charge.

ABOUT LEGAL SERVICES CLINIC:

The Constitution of India 1950, under Article 39A provides for Equal Justice
and Free Legal Aid. The Legal Services Clinic aims at spreading awareness
about Law and the rights of Citizens through seminars and skits and to extend
legal aid to those who are less privileged. It is important for every citizen to
have a basic understanding of the country's legal system and to ensure the
same. The college has been conducting numerous legal awareness program
since its inception by organizing legal literacy week and by visiting various

schools, colleges, slums and villages for imputing legal education. In the year
2021-2022 Legal Services Clinic of the college adopted five villages, Ballur,
Arrehalli, Dasanpura, Kodalipura, Hallehalli under Ballur Grama Panchayat
Annekal taluk, Bengaluru rural, Karnataka, as a part of Amrit Mahotsav on
the instructions of Karnataka State Law University, Hubbali.
