Impact of family conflicts to the Academic Performance of the Students

Family is a group of persons who are connected with each other and live together and also help
each other in the time of hardships. A family is a traditional social group where one adult
member do work and fulfil the needs of family. The family must be the main source of student's
motivation, inspiration, and dedication in achieving academic succes. But somehow, the Family
also becomes the source of conflicts. What is the impact of misunderstanding between families
in students performance at school?

Family conflict is a common problem in today's world. The family relationship seems to be
vulnerable and it's connected effects on individuals like children in school. The family provides
the psychological, moral,and spiritual foundations for the childs total growth, but as we all
know family isn't a family if it doesn't experience any kind of conflicts. As a result, members of
the family may feel uncomfortable and possibly have a heavy heart or a stress mind which will
affect their performance in their everyday lives especially on school. Many families are facing
some kind of problems like economical personal problems etc which directly affect their
children especially school going children. When students come in class with any kind of family
problem that become burden in their mind and they do not take interest in studies. Conflict in a
family create lack of trust, lack of dialogue, lack of respect, joblessness. If the conflict is
between parents then the mind of students become disturb and the result is lack of interest in
studies which become the cause of bad performance at the end
