Check whether the dimensions of the indicator correspond with your order. Mter inspection the level indicator is to be installed as follows . Reaove the service flange (bottos) and put the float into the pipe (engraving upverds). Most and indicator aro packed soparately in the sane cardboard. The liquid density is a°stenderd layout of the float, data of pressure and density are engraved on top of the float. The aagnetic system is exactly installed at the ianerse level of the float corresponding to liquid density. 7 If other Liquids are used, you aay probably ‘ have a mistake in indication and switching-point. If the indicator's position does not aeet with your approval, you can turn the indicator around the pipe. Oue to a ring-nagnetic-systea, the indicator vorks in every position on the pipe. Besure that no iron parts come into contact with the float, as the float must be able to nove freely. Ii, Electric alarm contacts abe Tm ton : bed Electric alare contacts can be ounted in every direction and position. there is a collection of alarm contacts selected by temperature and electrical loas. IIT, Start op AIL Level gauges with closed flozts (up to 100 Bar) are ready for use when they are flanged to the took. 7 If the indicator is provided with open float 2) close drain valve and service flange “b) open valve 1A very slowly so that the pressure in- and outside the float is identical ©) open valve 16 slovly the Liguie inside the float chamber nov moves up to the sane level is in the task, hen the flost passes the vofors they rotate 180°, shoving the observer the opposite face. the wafers turn from vhite to red. If they move in reverse direction, turn the complete indicator 160°. Iv. Putting out of operation For indicators with closed float, shut the valves inside the by-pass end drain the liquid. The service {lange can be disconnected and the float can be renoved. For indicators with open float, proceed in reverse order as under III. Maintenance . Normally the gauge is maintenance-free. If there is dirty Liquid, remove service flange and clean float and pipe. IMPORTANT he sure that drain and vent are always closed when putting the indicator into operation.
