If you disrespect your parents you will be disrespected by your children

A long time ago there was a man who had four sons, The father loved his sons, but one of
them, the youngest one behaved very differently from his brothers. He did not respect his
father and when his father asked questions, he would respond in a very disrespectful way.
The father grew old and began to think of his children in his old age. He wanted to
examine the characters of his sons and figure out which were respectful and which were
not. One day the father asked all his sons to come together for a meeting. In the meeting
he said, ' "My sons, as you can see I am getting old and I would like each of you to take
care of me. I suggest that you take turns each day.” He continued, "You all know that:
when you were a child, I used to shave your hair, now you should shave mine. When you
were a child I used to kiss you, now you should kiss me. When you were a child, I used
to feed you with milk, you should give me milk. When you were a child, I used to hold
you up, now you have to hold me. When you were a child, I used to give you a bath, now
you should give me a bath. The three sons replied and said:"Father, we are ready to serve
you as you like." The fourth son said:"Father, all that you have said is true, but listen to
me: I know you used to shave my hair in my childhood, now I can not shave yours
because there is no hair on your head. I know that you used to kiss me in my childhood
but I can not kiss you because now your mouth has bad smell and that time mine did not.
I know that you used to feed me with milk. Yes, you are right, but I cannot give it to you
now because you are able to hold it with your hands and I was not able at that time. I
know that you used to hold me up, I cannot hold you now because you are heavy and I
was very light at that time. I know that you used to give me a bath, now I cannot give you
because looking at the private parts of your body is unlawful. " After hearing the
responses of all four of his children, the father said, "Anyone who turns down my words
has disrespected me. I want you to know this. The three e boys served their father until he
died. The fourth one, rejecting his father's wishes, was disrespectful. The father said to
him, "One day, just as you have rejected my wishes, your children will reject yours."
After some time, the old man died. The boys grew older and the disrespectful son became
a father of two young boys. One of them was disrespectful to him, just as he was to his
father. As said by the Prophet, "Be respectful to your parents so that your children may
respect you." The boy regretted his actions, but it was too late for him. He tried to
counsel and guide his children, but they did not listen to him. What do we learn from this
story? If you show disrespect to your parents, your children will also show you
disrespect.
 8. DECEIVERS NEVER SUCCEED
A long time ago, there was a hyena and a fox that went to collect fruits from the bush the
fox asked to the hyena "Could you please climb up the tree and I will collect the fruits
that you send down, here on the ground? I will put them in your basket and mine. The
hyena accepted and climbed up the tree.
The hyena began sending down the fruits and the fox collected them off the ground.
However , the fox put all the ripe fruits into her basket, leaving a few unripe ones on top.
She also filled the hyena’s case with unripe fruits, leaving a few ripe ones at the top. The
hyena came down after finishing the task. The fox said, "Look at your case, I have given
you all the good ones and 1 took the bad ones'. The hyena said, "Thank you, well done".
The fox said," Now let us go home. I suggest you go through the Adad {thorny tree} road
and 1 will travel through the kurtun {remains of tree stem} the hyena agreed
As the hyena was passing through the thorny trees her basket was caught in a thorn of
tree and fruits spilled to the ground. She saw that there were no good fruits in its basket,
except those on the top. The hyena said, "Oh, Look 1 have been cheated!" Hyena
collected the good ones and tried to reach the fox
Fox was not at home and hyena asked fox’s children asked, “Where is your mother?”
Where are the fruits she has brought to you? The baby foxes replied, “Mother did not
come yet. Have you seen her? Hyena replied. “She is coming with a huge sheep , wait for
it". The children then disappeared into their cave. At the same time, when the fox entered
the unknown forest, she was scared and worried and what will happen to her if the hyena
found her. She went to see the rabbit and asked for refuge but was rejected. The fox then
decided to ask all wild animals in the area to come together and mediate between her and
the hyena. When all the animals convened to mediate between hyena and fox, fox
claimed that the hyena was trying to kill her. Then the hyena began talking and told
everyone how fox had cheated her after she did all the work of getting the fruits from the
tree. The issue was thoroughly investigated and it become apparent that the fox had made
a mistake and that hyena was right. Hyena was asked patience and fox was asked to
apologize for what it did to hyena. Fox was very happy to get away free.
Then she asked hyena to forgive her. She has regretted what she did and promised in
front of them all that will never happen this way again , unfortunately it was the nature of
fox to deceive all, so she went in to try to outsmart other animals in the forest.
