Stage 1: Stage 8:
Air shall be injected slowly into the tank until 138 mbar. A solution film shall be applied to Air shall be injected slowly to test when the PSV shall start to release air. (API 7.18.3.4)

for -4 mbar. (API 7.18.5.1)
Stage 3:
After reached the maximum test pressure 750 mbar (1.25 times Pg), the tank shall be held Stage 10:
with this pressure at least one hour. (API 7.18.3.4) Withdrawal of water from the tank to create vacuum until -4mbar and when the PRV shall start to open. (API 7.18.5.1)

Stage 4: Stage 11:

After the pressure is increased 600 mbar, a solution film shall be applied. The solution-film Withdrawal of water from the tank shall be continued, with open vents, until the tank water level is 2000 mm.
examination shall be made, above the liquid level, on all welds around openings, all piping (Substantially empty according to API 7.18.5.4)

Stage 12:
Stage 5: Repeating the vacuum test while the tank water level iS 2000 mm, by withdrawal as explained stage 10. (API 7.18.5.4)
Disassembled the ERV setted for 750 mbar and assemble the ERV setted for 600 mbar.
Stage 13:
Stage 6: Disassembled the PSV.
Air shall be injected slowly to test when the ERV shall start to release air. (API 7.18.3.4)
Stage 14:
Remove the blind and assemble the PSV. Air shall again be injected into the tank until the pressure in the tank equals the pressure, Pg, for which the vapor space
at the top of the tank is designed. (API 7.18.5.4)
