COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST (CUET) PG 2023

1. What is CUET 2023? Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced
for admission into PG programmes in Central and
Participating Universities for Academic Session 2023-24 under
the Ministry of Education (MoE). The Common University
Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and
equal opportunity to candidates across the country, especially
those from rural and other remote areas and help establish
better connect with the Universities. A single application form
will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be
part of the admission process to various Central and
participating Universities/Institutions.

NTA has been assigned the responsibility of conducting the


Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023 for admission
to Post-graduate (PG) Programmes of participating
Universities for the Academic Session 2023-24. This is a
National level test.

 Candidate has to choose language English or Hindi at the
time of registration for the Part A. (Choose Carefully).
 In case of Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya the entire
100 questions of the question paper would be in Sanskrit
language only.
 Part B of the Question Paper will be in Sanskrit only for
Acharya courses except Hindu Studies (English and Hindi)
and Baudha Darshan/Buddhist Studies in English, Hindi
and Sanskrit.
 In case of language papers Part B of the Question Paper will
be in the specified language.

Important Instruction

An applicant can apply for three (03) Test Papers by paying
application fee as mentioned above.
 An applicant can further apply for additional Test Papers by
paying additional application fees of ₹ 500/- (General applicants)
or ₹ 400/- (OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS/SC/ST/Third Gender/PwBD
Applicants) per Test Paper for PG Programmes.
 Candidates opting for test centres outside India will have to pay
application fee of ₹ 5000/- irrespective of the category they
belong to for upto three list papers.
 Further, for applying for additional test papers a fee of
₹ 1500/- per additional paper has to be paid.
