PROPOSAL

Synopsis: Our short film is a 90s slasher and a WLW (Woman Love Woman) story about an
obsessive stalker named Anna who takes her crush, Tatum, too far. Anna begins a serial
killing of the people she feels get in the way of her and Tatum's love, first in a rage and in
regret, then used to manipulate their relationship. Annas motive being her crush getting
into a new relationship. Annas motive being her crush getting into a new relationship with a
boy who has bullied Anna since primary school, just as she thought she had the opportunity
to make her way properly into her crush's life after the brake up of Tatum and her old ex-
girlfriend, Steph. As our short film progresses you will see a range of strange encounters and
killings asking yourself who? Why? And how?

Purpose: Our aim for this project is to create a 5-7-minute short film based around the
theme of suspense whilst sticking to our director's choice of style, Alfred Hitchcock.

What is the USP: Our unique selling point is that we are doing a 90s theme slasher, coming
out in
2023. It is also a Woman Love woman Story that follows two main characters being LGBTQ
women, It has only been recent where we have seen LGBT struggles/people in films, TV and
games but even now they paint the LGBT characters as stereotypical or without any
negative traits like every person has which is dehumanizing and backwards, we are making
sure our characters are all equal and not treated differently because of sexual or gender
orientation.
