Dear student,

As Mandarin Standard establishes more and more relationships with business clients
such as international corporations and embassies, we are now becoming part of the
Education Standard Group family and gaining access to more resources, content, and
technology.

To provide you with better support, we would like to inform you about our updated
guidelines:

1. Class hour and scheduling policy

Each class hour is 50 minutes long.
Please schedule classes 24 hours in advance.

2. Run-late policy
Classes will start and finish at the scheduled time:
students who ran late, can participate to the remainder of class time.

3. Cancellation and rescheduling policy
Cancellation or rescheduling will be allowed, free of charge if:
1) notified 24 hours in advance at least
2) due to Illnesses / flight delay / unplanned working needs / damaged device - but only if
notified 2 hours in advance at least - maximum once every 4 weeks
All other cases will be regarded as "no show" and the class hour will be forfeit.

4. Refund and transfer policy

Students who express dissatisfaction with a Mandarin Standard teacher can request to
be assigned to a different teacher. If after changing a teacher the student is still
dissatisfied, he/she will be entitled to a full refund.

If the student falls sick with a long term illness or consequences of an accident, the
student is entitled to a 50% refund.
If a student expresses dissatisfaction or continued inability to use his product, all
remaining classes can be transferred to a friend or relative referred by the student.
