Matilda is a 1996 American fantasy comedy film and directed by Danny Devito from a
screenplay by Nicholas Kazan and Robin Swicord,based on the 19198 novel of the same
name by Roald Dahl. It is set in the California the Crank House, in Altadena and The film
stars Mara Wilson as the title character with DeVito who also served a dual role as the
narrator ,Rhea Perlman, Embeth Davidtz, and Pam Ferris in supporting roles. and the film’s
colorful theme meaningful music, focuses on a reminder that young girls do have power to
control their own education.

Matilda is a childrens novel written by British writer Roald Dahl and illustrated by
Quentin Blake. It was published in 1988 by Jonathan Cape. The story features Matilda
Wormwood, a precious child with an ucaring mother and father, and time in the school run
by the tyrannical headmistress Miss Trunchbull. Since Matilda movie is Musical the song
will contain a lot of plot.The Matilda main plot centers on the titular child progidy who
develops psychokinetic abilities and uses them to deal with her disreputable family and
tyrannical principal of her school. The conflict in Matilda is that most of the adults are cruel

Matilda to live with Miss Honey and Miss Trunchbull leaves after her encounter with her
brother Magnus. The main setting of Matilda is Crunchem Hall Primary School. Other
setting in the Movie include Miss Honey’s cottage, Miss Honey’s childhood home, the city
library, Miss Honey’s classroom, and the school auditorium .It is a fantastic movie because
Matilda combines a great script, an incredible cast and beautiful storytelling to make one of
the best kids movies of all time. The movie and the book differ in many ways, but the gen
eral story and it’s moral stay the same. One of the most obvious changes is that of the
location. Roald Dahl’s book is set in the United Kingdom, whereas the 1996 movie was set
in America.

On a scale one to ten I would definitely give this a ten. The movie Matilda is beautifully
heartwarming a surprising mix of humour, adventure and mystery if you are into these kind
of genre you will enjoy watching the movie. Such a remarkable, Unique movie would be
produced with excellent actors, directing, cinematography, dialogues, editing, set and
unique music. Everything about this film, from the casting to the choreography, the vocals
and the visuals was perfect is now definitely up there as one of the unique beautiful film.
