JUSTIFICATION

A community garden is a segment of land gardened or cultivated by people

collectively or individually. This is also known as a safe space in one community to
have a social interaction and physical activities. Furthermore, some community
gardens can also help reduce negative environmental impacts by promoting
sustainable agriculture and improving the ecology of the area.

Therefore, the following statements shows the outline of what our community
project will do for the students of PLMun during the time period of our undertaking
and the justification for why this project is essentially needed for the environment of
the students.

To give an insertion to the essence of our project, this is a community garden

that will coalesce students to engage in certain activities in the said area to have
social interaction and mutual support to each other for the sake of their camaraderie
but the benefits does not end there because the project also aims to educate the
students in sustainable practices to improve the environmental health and quality of
life in our campus or community.

Additionally, our community project intends to enhance the aesthetic view of

the school since gardening can also contribute to the perceived attractiveness of the
area because some plants have aesthetic value and can be used to decorate areas,
thereby adding a greenery vibe, fresh air, and color to the area. Also, plants provide
a calming and soothing effect and radiate positive energy that helps to lighten the
mood and purify the surrounding.
