What Your Jamb Officials

Will Never Tell You!

All the Vital Information you ought to
know Before, During, and After the exam
that you were not told.
A Stern Warning!

You should not confuse this book for a jamb

study guide or material because it is
nowhere related to that.

However, if you ignore it, you will remain

trapped (for a long time) in the ignorant
path those officials unintentionally put you
in.

So read it and liberate yourself from the

extra wahala that comes with jamb, or is the
exam itself not already enough trouble?

Then, do not allow your ignorance add to

your already huge workload.
But first, let's get a quick glimpse of the
creator who made this valuable information
acessible to you.

And yes, i know you just want to go ahead

and read the whole stuff straight up, but if
you wrote something yourself, won't you
want to put your name on it?

So let him bask in his short moment of

😒
glory, even though we both know that you
will make it shorter
Well, his name is Daniel Oluku, and at the
time of March, 2023 of him drafting this
down, he is a 100-level undergraduate of
the Great Uniben Institution.
His two major skills are creatively
expressing himself with written words and
bringing to life his ideas through graphic
designs.

And that is all, a very short moment.

So slide over to the next page now ➡️

"Why Did I Ever Bother Writing This?"

You see that headline, it is the question i

ask myself sometimes, and every time this
memory comes back...
The experience of how strenous it was for
me to go about my jamb registration then
because there was little to nothing i knew
about the process.

Then, after writing the exam, forgetting

about it and thinking all was done,

only to face the excessive piled up

workload of all the left out things i never
knew that should have been done from the
very beginning.

It was annoying, stressful, and

frustrating. I even got shouted at, by the
officials after visiting them too much.

But all that would have never happened if

only the information i have now was made
available to me then.
And it is that trouble, disgrace, and stress i
want to prevent you from experiencing
because it was no fun at all.

You are even supposed to pay for this, but

at the moment, for a temporary time, you
will be getting it for free till whenever i
decide to change my mind.

Let's begin now, shall we?

Phase 1, The very beginning.

To you that is about to write jamb at this

moment, the very first vital information for
you to find out, is the appropriate subject
combinations that are needed for your
course.

For example, if you seek to study to study

medicine, then your subject combinations
would be;

• English, Chemistry, Physics & Biology

The subject combination for various

courses differs, so go ahead and find yours.

Wait, were you expecting me to list them all

out for you?
What are you...a five year old?

There are many people around you and

even the all-knowing Google on your
device, so you better get your lazy bones
into action.

It is a national board exam you are

preparing for, not your school test.

Next would be to have your Email, Phone

Number, and NIN Slip ready, and be
careful not to lose any of those items
afterwards because you may regret it.

Also, your phone number has to be linked

to your NIN beforehand as this is what you
will use for the first part of the jamb
registration process.
So if you don't have a NIN slip, you better
go and struggle to do it before the jamb
registration deadline is over.

Now, for the first step in your jamb

registration process

You will have to send a message to 55019

with the text "NIN (Your NIN Number)," e.g.
"NIN 223344433"

Just as shown in the next page here ➡️

Also, remember to do this with the number
that is already linked to your own NIN, i
repeat, your own NIN slip, not that of
another person.
The text message will cost you about N50,
so be ready, airtime-wise

After sending that message, if all is

successful, Your Jamb Profile Code will be
generated and sent to you via text on the
same number.

Afterwards, go to jamb office and ask how

you are to pay for your jamb registration,
cause in the past, you would simply give
the money to the jamb officials and they will
give you a form.

But last i checked, things now go a bit

different, at the moment, you will be
required to pay for something called a
UTME PIN, and this pin will be sent to you
via text also.
And somehow, it is also the same amount
as the required jamb registration fee, but
once you pay for that, you will not be paying
for anything else concerning the registration
process.

So go ahead and collect the form, then fill it

out appropriately.
Use that pic to guide yourself appropriately.

Take note; for the part labelled

School/Private, it does not mean Public
School or Private School, many others also
had this ignorant thought too.

The actual meaning and full sentence is

School Candidates, and Private
Candidates.

School Candidates represent those who

wrote their Waec or Neco (O level exams)
the usual way, that is, being registered on
the WAEC database as students of the
school which they attend.

To put it in simple terms, by just writing your

O level exams in the school which you
attended your ss3, that automatically
makes you a School Candidate.

Whereas, Private Candidates are those

who are outside a school body but still
choose to write their O Level exams by
passing the routes of GCE.

Whether they get posted to another school

or a far away place to write it, the school is
just thier centre for writing and so they are
not part it.

And right now, someone is deeply grumbly

within himself that maybe you could have
just said

"Those who wrote Gce Waec and Neco

should write PRIVATE while those who
wrote the normal one inside school write
SCHOOL"

Yes, that would have been simple,

straightforward, and honestly, save me alot
of stress

but you would forever never understand

why it was so, and be useless to others
who will still not get it after you blurt out that
statement.

So tone down your impatience, sit your ass

and read, but if that is too hard, you can as
well take the door out and leave.

Alright, they are gone…

So where did we stop?

Yeah, it was at the filling of the form.

Now, you can decide to go back home, take

your time, and carefully fill it

Or just fill it right there at that moment if you

know all you need in your head already

Whichever you choose, after you are done,

proceed to an Accredited Jamb Office
where you and the personnel there will
finally do the registration together,

they will also take your photo of you and

maybe scan your fingerprint.

Also, if you carry your O-level Result along

or have it readily available, make sure you
present it to them and they input it correctly
with the other registration details.
But if you are yet to write your Waec or
Neco exams, then just put Awaiting Result
there.

And that's it, you are true with your jamb

registration, easy peasy.

The First Phase is done.

Now the Second Phase begins, we are
finally delving deep.

And at this phase, is where it begins to get

dangerous.

Let me ask you...

Do you think you are done and can finally

rest from jamb after the stress they put you
through in the registration process?

Well, yes, at this point, the only thing you

should be concerned about is how to pass
your exams in leaps and bounds

But at some later time, the answer

becomes No.

Why?
See, there are so many things you were not
told, and was also left out by the jamb
officials.

Not because they intentionally did not want

to tell you.

It is just hard to expect a very busy,

mentally frustrated, physically tired, and
struggling person who is preoccupied with
so many young people to function properly.

But should they tell you these things? Yes!

Even your school ought to have told such

important and vital information, but did
they?
Ofcourse not, many of them don't even
bother to know about the process, much
less concern themselves with the other
aspects of it, moreover, they can't give out
what they do not know.

And that is how you will keep being ignorant

of these vital information at the early
stages.

Vital Information like...

● What is Jamb email linking, and why is

it very important for you?

● What really is the difference between

Jamb Direct Entry and Jamb UTME
Exam?
● Or why is it nesscesary to upload your
O-level?...Wait, do you even know how
to do that?

● And what the heck is jamb caps?

With many other vital pieces of information

left out by the school and both the jamb
officials...

The most painful scenario is you being

ignorant of How to Access your Jamb Caps
or not even know what it is meant for, and
even how to use it properly.

Sadly, these are not talked about at your

respective jamb accredited centres
because they are too busy to sit down and
explain to you.
But don't worry! You are reading this, aren't
you?

Then you can be assured that i will do

everything within the few short pages of this
ebook to enrich with all that i know and
have discovered as a former jambite
myself.

In fact, what i know came as a result of

disturbing their office frequently, painfully
reading all i could find online and, in turn,
writing jamb for a second time..

However, my second time ended up being

an unnecessary waste of my efforts & time
(even though the score was the higher one)
as i was eventually given admission with
my first attempt in 2021.
😑
Moreover, i was not happy doing it as i was
pushed to write that 2022 exam

Anyway, back to the important issue here.

Now, if you have done the jamb registration

as it was stated out in the first phase

then let me congratulate you. All that is left

is for you to pass and make good scores
(don't say amen if you won't read)

Remember, your focus should be on one

thing entirely, and that is, reading and
preparing for the exam...

Make sure to prepare for it because on that

day of the exam
You will answer a total of 180 questions,
with English taking at least 60, then 40
each for your remaining three subjects.

And they are all to be answered in 120

mins, that is 2 hours precisely, so if you
are slow, better work on your speed before
the exam

And to prepare for the exam;

Here is a very short list of books i

recommend you should read

● Jamb's Use Of English, A-Z

● Good books for your subject combos

● And lastly, practising a lot of Jamb past

questions
Take note, there are two major things that
will happen before your final exam date

The first one is the mock exam.

If you are willing to write this, then at some

later point, the date for it to hold will be
announced, and you will be required to
check online for your mock exam venue.

Remember the venue well, and also bear in

mind that you might pay some money
before you enter the venue and start the
mock exam, so be prepared.

The second major thing that would

happen is the day jamb will start rolling out
the venues for the actual exam (this
moment is normally referred to as
reprinting)

Now, immediately they start, I will advise

you to keep checking daily and just calmly
wait until jamb rolls out the date for your
own exam on their website.

Once they do and you get to know your

venue, start making your preparations on
how to get there, be it you have go a day
before, early morning or mid day.

Just prepare!

Least i forget, there are also important

alphabets on your keyboard to understand
so you will be familiar with their uses during
your exam.
You might not necessarily need to use
these keywords in answering your jamb cbt
questions if your mouse works, but should
perhaps it doesn't, your keyboard could
rescue you

So read them carefully.

Now for selection of options (that is your

answers), press "A" or "B" or "C" or "D",
acordingly to what option you know is
correct

When you press "N," it will take you to the

next question

Clicking on "P" will bring you back to the

previous question
Caressing the "S" button will submit your
exam for you, so only use that keyword
when you are true and have gone through
several times

When "R" is clicked, it will reverse the

submit request if you accidentally use the
keyword "S"

And finally "Y" to confirm your submission

after clicking "S"

Remember, "Y" to confirm submission

while "R" to reverse it.

And those are all the keywords i am aware

of that you will be needing on your
keyboard.
However, if your mouse is working fine,
then you might not need to worry about all
these

but still, know them just in case, because

most of these centres are not well
maintained, and it is better to be ready for
anything.

Even i myself, during my first attempt, had

to use a keyboard for the first 1 hour of my
exam before these officials finally found a
mouse.

Funny enough, it was before the exam even

started that the complaint was made by me
but see when they brought it? One hour
after the exam has started, just imagine!
Also, if you are a pro typist or a little fast at
typing, then using the keyboard will be very
much easier for you.

Anyway, here are some tips for when

writing your exam.

● Always start with your english questions

first

● Read the whole comprehension from

start to finish first before ever attempting
to go answer the questions under it

Do not go ahead attempting to answer

questions for a comprehension passage
that you do not understand. This is not
your school test!
● When answering the questions of other
subjects, quickly answer the ones you
know and leave the ones you don't.

And yes, you have heard this over a

thousand times, but your blockhead still
won't listen.

In fact, don't listen. You are the one who

will be complaining of not having
enough time later, when, in fact, you
wasted over 20 minutes on just three
questions.

● Also, before the exam starts, make sure

to check if your equipment is working (if
the computer is already on).

Do this by moving the mouse a bit and

see if the cursor moves accordingly or
try typing in the keyspace showing on
the screen, better to know your situation
and report early or know how you can
manage through.

Also, don't be tempted to login, that is

one of the reasons why they tell you not
to touch anything so act wise, not foolish

● Lastly, do not allow any disturbance

when you are reading your
comprehension passage…

Because that is when you will need to

think more as the questions are very
cunning and also it carries the highest
mark for your jamb exam so i advise you
to answer that one at the very beginning
of the exam as everyone will most likely
be quiet then.
Do not make the mistake of answering it
last because you might rush it due to
lack of time or the disturbance caused
by the noise of others as the exam is
nearing the end.

Well, those are my only tips, and i did not

put the obvious overly used "read your
books" line.

So, if you are foolish, do not read. Jamb will

show you its smiling face.

Now may the stars of luck and grace shine

upon you.

And if you dare say amen but have not

opened your book in the last two days, may
these stars obliterate and haunt you.
Amen.

Slide to the next page ➡️

So after writing your exam, here is what you
will do next

First, wait for a minimum of two to five days

and hear if the result is out

Once you do get verified information that

they are out

Go go ahead and send "UTMERESULT" to

55019 on your registered jamb phone
number, which has been linked to your NIN.

When that is done, Jamb will send you a

text written version of your result if it is
available.

Take note: this is not the real result

However, back then, before 2022, we, the
older boys and girls, could use their jamb
result checking website to get a printed out
version of our results, but lately, that option
is no longer available

Also, this text message will cost you some

airtime (yes, jamb loves money too)
Now that you have reached this phase, it is
time to start talking about vital things your
jamb officials couldn't tell you.

Things like;

● What really is the difference between

Jamb Direct Entry and Jamb UTME
Exam?

To find out, move on to the next phase ➡️

Phase 3, Unveiling the Hidden Myths.

Now, what really is the difference between

jamb direct entry and jamb utme exam

First, Jamb direct entry is for those who

finished their secondary school but did not
go to a university (in most cases), instead a
polytechnic, a practical school, or some
programme of similar lane...

And earned a higher level of education

called the A-Level or qualifications like the
NCE, ND, or HND etc

The reason why these guys take direct

entry is precisely because they have a
higher level certificate than the O Level
Result (WAEC and NECO)

And as such, that qualification allows them

to enter directly into 200 level from the
get-go.

But what about those who train via Jubep?

Don't worry, It is both the same thing

Jubep is an Advanced (A)-Level

programme the university provides them to
gain that higher level certificate, which in
turn qualifies them for Direct Entry.

While Jamb UTME exam is the one that

everyone knows.
An exam usually written by secondary
school students or people with only Waec
and Neco certificates, with the hopes of
getting into the university after scoring the
required score.

Well, that is the difference.

Also, remember i said if your O level result

is yet to be out, then you should put
awaiting result...

So when you do write your Waec or Neco

and the results come out.

I advise you to immediately get the soft

copy of it, print it out, then go ahead and
upload it in your jamb caps by visiting a
nearby jamb office.
Now, do still you recall writing your email on
the jamb registration form you submitted?

or on the form you gave to the

officer/person helping you with your
registration?

By now, you should be aware that the email

you wrote will later become valuable for
future jamb purposes.

Purpose like;

● Downloading your original jamb result

● Checking your admission status

● Viewing your school or course transfer

● Getting your Jamb admission letter

With so many others...

And all this can be done from your just one

place, Your Jamb Caps!

Did you just say you don't know what jamb

caps is?

Ah, you must be from The Croods Family.

Well, no issue, we all originated from

cavemen too, so there is a slim chance of
evolution for you just like there was for
Grug Crood.

So listen carefully ➡️
Jamb caps, is simply a portal or website
that allows you to do all the stuff i am about
to mention now

● Acess to your original jamb result

● Check your admission status (to know if

the university has given you admission
or not)

● Download your jamb admission letter

● And many others

But If you still need me to break it down,

then abeg, go and use Google to sort
yourself out, i am not here to spoonfeed
you like a baby.
However, the most important thing i want
to point out is that, it is only possible to
access your jamb caps once your email has
been linked to your jamb profile which those
officials created for you to write the exam.

And did you not write your email on the

jamb registration form?

That means it would have been done

automatically, right?

But this is where my laugh comes out. It

seems you still don't realize the country you
are in.

Dear beautiful gals and handsome gees,

also bright aspiring jambites, Your Emails
Were Never Linked Automatically!
And this i say with my full chest because i
know it, i have experienced it, and i have
seen many others pass through it.

The email you put on those forms you filled

and which were scanned by the jamb
officials never got linked to your jamb profile

Or did they ask you for your Gmail while

doing the registration process with you?

Still, you are not to be blamed here.

There are still many out there who are not

aware of this.

It is only a few that can say they knew from

the very beginning that they would have to
come back again and link their email to
their jamb caps.
Besides, the jamb officials are too stressed
out to even remember telling you that info.

But you are here reading this, so if you are

aware that you have not linked your email
to your jambs, then i urge you to set out, go
to their office and then tell them to do it
immediately for you

Without it, you won't be able to access your

jamb profile on the jamb caps website.

Meaning, you can't know if your desired

university has given you admission or
changed your course

So why are you still in one place right now?

Set out a date and time, then go there
asap.
After you are done with it (that is visiting
their office and successfully linking your
email),...jamb will send a mail containing
some login details to access your jamb
caps profile.

The mail will look like either of this.

Only two things are important to you in this
mail

Ur email address- (whatever@[Link])

The password sent by them which usually

starts with "cand" at the beginning.

Those two details are what you will be

using in accessing your jamb caps profile

To do that, just visit the link below

[Link]

Then this page would show up ➡️

Next is to input those two details (which you
should have copied down or written
somewhere) in the required spaces.

Well, that is it.

You now have access to your jamb caps

and can log in whenever you want.
With this, you are halfway close to securing
your soon coming admission (so long you
read and get the appropriate score).

But you are not accessing your jamb caps

for the purpose of just playing sake.

It has its uses and there are plenty.

But for the fact that you are only a jambite,

your focus would only be on the things that
matter to you at your current stage.

And the first of that would be how to check

your admission status through your jamb
caps.

Also, if you have done your registration

right, and your school is the type that works
well with jamb frequently, then you should
be able to see your admission status over
time easily on their profile.

So, let's begin.

➡️
As you usual, you log in to your jamb profile
via this link
[Link]

Click on the purple rectangular icon labeled

✔️
"Check Admission Status" with a white
tick mark like this above it
After clicking it, there are two ways to check
your admission status.

One, going to your jamb caps direct by

visiting the green button labeled "Access
my CAPS" (always recommended)
Or two, checking from the blue button
labeled "Check Admission Status"

But let's go with two for now. Before you

click the blue button, make sure to tick the
white box by the side of "Refresh
Admission from CAPS"
After ticking that, go ahead and click the
button, then it will show if you have been
given admission or not.

However, this blue button and its pop-up

always misbehave, so I advise you to check
from your jamb caps always.

And how do you access your jamb caps?

Yes, that is how, smart kid 👏
For those still waiting for me to spill it out, I
pray the scales will come off your eyes
eventually.

Moving ahead, here is how your jamb caps

will look like
It is there that you will be able to;

● Check your admission status

● Know if you got admitted for a different

course

● See if you O level results were uploaded

properly

● with so many others which you will

eventually find out.

But very importantly, take note of this, when

you want to log into your jamb caps, always
make sure your browser (chrome
recommended) is in desktop mode or
desktop site.
Without it, you will not be able to perform
what has been listed except you use a
laptop or pc for logging in.

Now, let's go ahead and find out how to

check your admission status on the jamb
caps website.

First, as usual, you log in via this link

[Link]
Then bring yourself up to this point (i won't
be explaining twice)

If you look very closely to the list on the

left-hand side, you would see Admission
Status, click on it.

Afterwards you should see this

but instead, yours would be showing at that
labeled place either
NOT ADMITTED

ADMISSION IN PROGRESS, CHECK

BACK LATER
or CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE
BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION!

So what does each signify and how should

you react?

Now, if you have written your jamb exams

and also Post UME (for schools that require
it), and you are also certain the school has
started releasing the admission batches or
list.

Then when you see NOT ADMITTED, it

does not mean you were refused
admission, it simply just means the
admission list or batch with your name has
not yet been uploaded by the school to the
jamb website.

Remember, getting admission into the

school means you must get the required
cut-off mark released by the school for both
their jamb, post ume, and courses.

However, it is a different case when you are

transferred to another course.

I'll talk more on the scoring systems and

course transfer later, but for now, focus on
this.

So remember; NOT ADMITTED means

they are still in the process of giving you
admission, or your course has been
changed, and you are not aware.

But if it remains like that forever, that is,

after even the people you applied with are
about to enter 200 level, then you have to
forge forward.

Let's assume you have written your post

utme already, and you have been checking
for a month nonstop, still it keeps showing
NOT ADMITTED.

Then, the next day, you check again, and

you see ADMISSION IN PROGRESS,
CHECK BACK LATER, just get up, and
rejoice. It is exactly what it means, your
admission is being processed.
So it won't be long before you check back
again and see CONGRATULATIONS, YOU
HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION!

Sometimes, you don't even see the

Admission In Progress thing at all, that is, if
you don't check every day (like me) but are
still confident and trust in God that you will
get admission.

You would check once in a week or thrice in

a month and just see
CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE BEEN
OFFERED ADMISSION! waiting there for
you.

In fact, i only knew that there is a

ADMISSION IN PROGRESS, CHECK
BACK LATER phase after a year later of
writing my first jamb
And it was all because of two girls (most
especially the one whose name start with
"M") that kept troubling me with helping
them check their jamb caps nearly every
damn day after their post utme.

Both of them have successfully gotten

admission now, but they both got
transferred to another course. The same
also happened to me.

So let's talk about course transfer, change

of course, or transferred admission to
another course from your desired university

And how you should go about it.

First, let me show you would know if your

course was transferred or changed at all
As usual, go to your jamb page and click on
Transfer Approval, and then you will see
this.

Now, the way it is showing here will only

appear so if you were admitted into another
course by the school, but if you don't see it
like this, then none of such has happened
yet.

Course transfer only happens when you do

not meet the requirements needed for your
desired course, or your desired course
faculty no longer has the capacity to take in
more people (sad truth)

But whichever the case may be, you have

been halfway admitted already, only this
time into a different course than the one you
choose.

So if after seeing and you decide to take it,

you could choose to accept it from your
phone

Or go to jamb office and let them do it for

you.
However, due to my ignorance then, I was
always visiting Jamb Office for every single
thing, as I still did not know how to access
my jamb caps or had my email linked to my
jamb profile yet.

Unfortunately, i found out late, that is, after

writing the second time in 2022, which
ended up not being useful as it was my
2021 jamb that got me in

But it gave me this much experience that I

am sharing with you now, so it is a great
fortune for you to have access to this.

Also, if you do get a course transfer from

your university, bear in mind that you will
have to do a change of course process at
the nearest jamb office to you.
Just go there with your jamb profile code,
registration, the name of the course you
were transferred to, and some money

Then mention you want to change your

course and they will show you how to go
about it, and yes, it has to be done from
their office so get up and go there.

Also, whenever you see,

CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE BEEN
OFFERED ADMISSION!, make sure you
click the Accept Admission button, this
time you will be able to and it will be like it is
here.
Click it and watch how your page turns to
this after refreshing it.

Once you see this, CONGRATULATIONS,

YOU HAVE ACCEPTED ADMISSION, be
rest assured, you have gotten in, there is
nothing to worry about anymore.

But there are other things you still need to

know, like how to know if another school
has offered you admission.

Well, this will be quick, so to know that.

Head over to the marketplace icon on the
left-hand side

And if there are any offers, you will know

➡️
when you see. However, if not, it will look
like this
Though sometimes these universities or
polytechnics (which are often the case)
could send you text messages to even
notify you, but I think this only works when
the school you put as your second choice
does accept people who selected them as
second choice.

Because many stonecold universities out

there will never accept you if you put them
as second choice, yep, especially those
federal ones like Uniben, Unilag, Uniport,
those ones will just ignore you, besides
they have too much competition already.

Also, if you do get admitted by another

university, and you accept, immediately
head over to jamb office and do a change of
institution, you already know what you
need.

Next up is checking to see if your O level

result (waec and neco) was uploaded to
your jamb caps.

This one is simple. Just click on the My O'

Level icon as indicated the next page
⬇️
And if your result has been uploaded, then
this will show
But if you do not see that, then carry your
ass now with your result and go to jamb
office to do the needful.

Though if you are yet to write your exams

or will soon do that, immediately you have
written the exam and the results come out,
take your ass out and go to jamb office with
your result in your hands for uploading.

This is so important because without it,

most universities will not consider giving
you admission.

Even the time one of my gee was being

given admission by another institution (not
the one he had chosen)
He was told by the institution to go upload
his O level result, so that is just how
important it is.

Now, this is mostly all you will be needing

for the jamb caps area.

And with that, we come to the close of this

phase

But there are still three things left

● How to get your admission letter from

jamb

● The scoring system used by your

universities for giving admission
● Lastly, how to get the original jamb
result that has your picture attached to
it.

To do these three things is relatively easy

For getting your admission letter and

original jamb result, just log into your jamb
profile

Visit the green and red rectangular icons

which say Print Admission Letter &
Print Result Slip
Then, follow the necessary processes.
However, have it at the back of your mind
that you would be making some sort of
online payment.

After all that is done, you will have the pdf

⬇️
versions of those documents like these
ones
So ahead to a cafe and print these out,
make you get them in colored copies and
that they are legible to the eyes.

Now, for the scoring system, know that

there is a minimum jamb score you must
meet before your these institutions will even
consider you for either their post utme or
even give you admission

But when there is no post utme, you just

need to hit the score set by the school, (e.g
180) then apply to the school and follow the
necessary processes.

However, if post utme is involved (like my

wonderful Uniben), you are still required to
get the minimum score set by the school
(which is 200 in jamb)

And take note, getting this score does not

give you direct admission but instead,
qualify you for writing their post utme exam,
which in turn will determine if you have a
shot at getting admission.

Also after writing both exams, various

cut-off marks will be released by
faculties/departments of the numerous
courses in the school (including yours
which you want to study)

And it is the combination of your both jamb

and post utme score that is compared to
the cut-off marks released by the
faculties/departments.
It goes like this

First, your jamb score is divided by 8, and

your post utme score is divided by 2

Then both the products of those equations

are added together and compared to the
cut-off mark released.

For example, let's assume that you scored

246 in jamb and then 68 in Post Ume, and
you desire to study public administration.

And the cut-off mark released by the

faculty/department of that course is 60

Alright, so let's caculate if you have a shot a

getting admission.
First, divide your jamb score by 8, that is
246÷8=30.75

Then your post utme by 2; 68÷2=34

Add those two products together

(30.75+34)...what do you have?

A total of 64.75.

And the cut-off mark released was what?

60!

So yeah, you just passed and would most

likely get your desired course.

But when you get a total calculated lower

score than the cut-off mark released, that is
when the chances of course transfer
happen.

Well, beautiful ladies and handsome

gentlemen, we have come to the end of this
journey concerning every vital information
you need to know Before, During and
After Jamb.

So, did you enjoy it?

Were most of your unanswered questions

solved?

And did this help you in any way?

You can tell me through the sentence

below. Don't worry, it is a whatsapp link, so
just click on it.
Here is what i think about everything so far

Honestly, i ought to end this whole thing in a

grand way (at least that is what the writer
intuition in me is saying right now)

However, the Lord knows that the only thing

holding up from touching the floor is nothing
but a toothpick

So, shall we close this and now allow

everyone to go back to where they came
from?

That will happen soon but just slide over to

the next page and this will be over, there is
something very important for you there.

Very very important, you should not miss it.

And would you look at that, you were so
reluctant to just come here…

You are in rush to just run away...

And even after reading this far or learning

so much..

Your conscience did not even prick you to

say thank you and even appreciate the
creator…

Or did you click the link that was dropped

earlier?...
Wicked fellow…

You are just eating, and eating, and eating,

from different creators till one day you will
explode...

No o, not from overfeeding of knowledge

but from overhoarding the contribution
points of creators in your growth...

Which you could have simply released in

the form of appreciativeness, a honest
review of their work, a simple suggestion or
the possible worse, a painful negative
comment...
But you would rather hoard them...

You better release them through these

mediums now before i wipe you cord for
your left eye.

lecture pals, and church members who
might also be writing jamb.

You will be saving a young soul and

yourself a hundred years worth of stress by
just doing that.
