Prior to day oftracklaying production, Works Tain wil be loaded at the Construction depot ‘+ LWR strings of 260m long will be loaded in palrs on deck of modified flat BLCA type wagons of works train using a series of synchronized overhead gantries. Rail viopers will be provided on works train to avoid shifting of rails during transit, Sleeper loading gantry which wil rn on auxiliary track wil place sleepers in layers: with wooden battens (SOmm X SOmm) in between each layer creating pallets oF sleeper. leeperloading Gantry wil ift sleepers and place them onthe works train. This process is repeated tl day's work complete, ‘The Track Layer Foreman shall record the start and fnish chainage of track laying and ‘the number of sleepers used. From the number of sleeper lad, per Kloneter sleepers ‘an be calculated to determine that sleeper spacing is within the Speciied limits. Any ‘emaining rails onthe Works Train shall be securely fastened, prior tothe Works Train, departure. After shearing, the: ‘welding head shall be removed from the weld and rroved to the next weld.
