Online textbook is mandatory, as it includes homework assignments and other materials
1. Go to the Bilkent Bookstore, and purchase the access code for Thinking Mathematically, 7/e; it is
around 140TL
2. Go to https://www.pearsonmylabandmastering.com/global/
3. Under Students, select Get Registered
4. When you have everything you need, select OK! Register now
5. Enter the ID for your section:
Section 02: esen99174
Section 03: esen45992
Section 04: esen91999
6. If you already have a Pearson account, sign in with that username and password; otherwise, create an
account, completing required fields.
7. Click "Access Code", and input your purchased access code.
8. From the "You're Done!" page, select Go To My Courses
9. On the My Courses page, select Blitzer Thinking Mathematically, 7/e

Homework Policy:

 There are no homework makeups.


 All homework assignments are mandatory.
 Late homework assignments will not be accepted.

Attendance Policy:
Attendance will be taken during lectures and will be posted on STARS.
If you attend:
 80% or more to the classes, you will get 5 points bonus;
 Between 60% and 80%, you will get 3 points bonus at the end of the semester.
Classroom Policy:

 Please be present and punctual for all classes, since regular class attendance will maximize your
performance.
 Latecomers will not be allowed to attend the class.
 As a courtesy, please do not talk to each other and do not text during the class time.
 Refrain from bringing food into the classroom.
 You are encouraged to work together to solve problems. However, you must complete your own
work.
