Rohilkhand University was established in 1975 as an affliating University; with its headquarters in Bareilly, to cater the
growing demand for a centre of higher education in Rohilkhand region. The status of the university was upgraded to
afTiliating-cum-residential university in 1984 when four teaching departments were established in the campus. In 1986
three more Departments were added. The University took a major step in 1995 by introducing additional professional
courses in Engineering & Technology, Management, Education & Allied Sciences, etc. In August 1997, Rohilkhand
University was renamed as Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University after the great social reformer and thinker of
the nineteenth century who was also a pioneer for women education in India. Today the University is an educational
federetion of University Campus Departments and Colleges spread over nine districts of Western Uttar Pradesh
stretening to 31,287 square kilometres and sheltering more than thirty million people with over five lakh sixty thousand
stucents. There are Six Faculties and Twenty-four Departments in the University Campus spread over a lush green area
of 206.7 acres, 09 constituent colleges and 587 affliated colleges that prepare the students for graduate, post-graduate,
and doctoral degree courses, as well as for many cetificate and diploma programmes, in various fields of study.
MJP Rohilkhand University is a truly multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary university by virtue of having
aimost all ofthe major as well minor streams of global knowledge, subjects, disciplines, and courses/programmes either
on its ce mpus or on the premises of the constituent and affliated colleges. It has been at the fore-front of universities in
the cauntry and state in adopting and implementing NEP 2020. In the University campus there is twenty four

The internal examinations have been conducted by the head or Dean of the concern department or faculty and
the main examination of the all departments of the university are conducted by the controller of examination. The
controller of examination also conducts examination of all affiliated colleges. The Controller of Examinations of

official website much before the examination. MJPRU exams are based on the UG and PG programs. Students who wish
to register for the University examination should download the University exam scheme. The Examination Time Table
has published by the university generally 10-20 days before the exams. The date of the exams and instructions for taking

the exams has been provided in the MJPRU Scheme. Student can check their eligibility and prepare accordingly
