Islam was spread in Uganda in 1844. Unfortunately, the rate at which Islam is spread in the
Western region is by far less in contrast with other regions in Uganda due to language barrier.
ALLAH (GOD) tells us in the Quran; “And we did not send any messenger except in the
language of his people to state clearly for them… (14:4)”. Therefore, the Agency came up to
propagate Islam using the regional Runyakitara languages and has made many achievements;
