A few weeks before the entire nation shouts “Viva Pit Señor!” or “Viva Señor Santo Niño!” to
celebrate the Feast of Sto. Niño. The General Animator of Knighthood of St. Michael the
Archangel under the Congregation of St. Michael the Archangel, Rev. Fr. Peter Prusakiewicz,
CSMA will visit St. Michael the Archangel Parish - BGC on the same day. Everyone might be
wondering what is the connection between Knighthood and St. Michael the Archangel Parish -
BGC. Last May 8, 2022, a prayer service was held in St. Michael the Archangel Parish - BGC in
celebration of the Apparition of St. Michael the Archangel in Gargano, Italy. The parish became
a center for prayer services of the Knighthood of St. Michael the Archangel which is directly
connected with the Congregation of St. Michael the Archangel in Italy. Rev. Fr. Peter
Prusakiewicz, CSMA had a schedule to travel in various places to promote and strengthen the
devotion to St. Michael the Archangel. St. Michael the Archangel Parish - BGC is one of the
places that he will visit and considered a location for the investiture of the members of
“The Power and Love of St. Michael Archangel of the Divine Mercy” started at time according to
the schedule connected with the said theme, Knighthood, and devotion to St. Michael. Including
the Seven Weapons: Daily Bible Reading, Daily exorcism prayer to St. Michael the Archangel,
Daily angelic chaplet to St. Michael, Fast each Friday on bread and water (or a good deed if a
fast is impossible), Monthly Reconcilation, Monthly Eucharist Adoration, Nine day Novena to St.
Michael before the feast day on 29th September. It was followed by a Holy Hour that each of the
parishioners fall in line to have a personal veneration with the Blessed Sacrament. Most of them
felt that it was different than usual Holy Hour that the parish commonly do. Rev. Flordelito C.
Dador Jr., parochial vicar of the St. Michael the Archangel Parish - BGC, concelebrated the Holy
Mass after the Holy Hour. Rev. Fr. Flordelito read the Gospel while Rev. Fr. Peter did the
Homily focusing on the theme specifically on Divine Mercy. Rev. Fr. Peter showed the Diary of
St. Faustina in connection with St. Michael the Archangel and Divine Mercy. Right after the
mass has ended, everyone fall in line once again to venerate on the first class relic of St.
Faustina and receive the scapular of St. Michael the Archangel as token of appreciation in

The following day, the members of the Knighthood of St. Michael the Archangel Philippine
Chapter with Rev. Fr. Peter Prusakiewicz, CSMA and Rev. Fr. Flordelito C. Dador Jr. had an
investiture at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish - BGC. The parish also formed their own
Knighthood of St. Michael the Archangel that will have investiture after the necessary formations
required.
It was a day full of blessing for a rare opportunity that the parish has received. But it is not
teachings through the intercession of the parish patron saint, St. Michael the Archangel. It is a
start of the task and it will not be the end. Through the guidance of the Divine Mercy and St.
Faustina who made a strong connection to empower us to be a channel of His love and
reminder.
