TASK 1
You have probably guessed by now that Hiccup was not your natural Viking Hero.
For a start, he didn’t LOOK like a Hero. Somebody like Snotlout, for instance, was tall,
muscley, covered in skeleton tattoos, and already had the beginnings of a small moustache.
This consisted of a few straggly yellow hairs clinging to his upper lip and was deeply
unpleasant to look at, but still impressively manly for a boy not yet thirteen.
Hiccup was on the small side and had the kind of face that was almost entirely
unmemorable. He DID have Heroic Hair, which was a very bright red and stood up vertically
however much you tried to wet it down with seawater. But nobody ever saw that because it
was hidden under his helmet most of the time.
You would NEVER have picked Hiccup out of those ten boys to be the Hero of this
story. Snotlout was good at everything and a natural leader. Dogsbreath was as tall as his
father and could do amusing things like farting to the tune of the Berk National Anthem.
Hiccup was just absolutely average, the kind of unremarkable, skinny, freckled boy who was
easy to overlook in a crowd.
So, when Gobber blew the horn and moved out of sight to find a comfortable rock to
sit on and eat his mussel-and-tomato sandwich, Snotlout pushed Hiccup out of the way and
took charge.
‘Okay, listen up, boys,’ he whispered in a menacing fashion. I’m in charge, not the
Useless. And anybody who objects gets a knuckle sandwich from Dogsbreath the Duhbrain.’
Dogsbreath was delighted to oblige. He gave Hiccup a shove that sent him sprawling
head-first into the snow, then ground his face in it.
‘Pay attention!’ hissed Snotlout. The boys dragged their eyes away from Dogsbreath
and Hiccup and paid attention.
‘That’s right, Fishlegs.’ said Snotlout. ‘I AM,’ and just in case he had been laughing
at him: ‘Bash him, Dogsbreath!’
While Dogsbreath pushed Fishlegs down to join Hiccup in the snow, everybody
started roping themselves together. Hiccup and Fishlegs were the last to be tied on just behind
a flushed and triumphant Dogsbreath.
‘Oh brilliant,’ muttered Fishlegs. ‘I’m about to enter a cave full of man-eating
reptiles tied up to eight complete maniacs.’
‘If we get to the cave ….’ said Hiccup nervously, looking up at the sheer black cliff.
Abstract
Ninety years after the genesis of quantum physics significant research on students'
understanding of such revolutionary phenomena is beginning to emerge. What are photons
really like? Are they like particles or waves? Are they like both particles and waves, or like
neither? The implications of quantum theory for the commonsense notion of an object
illustrate the difficulties in using ordinary experience to make sense of the subatomic world.
Part of the findings of a series of studies investigating students' understanding of quantum
physics is presented, describing students' visualizations of quantum entities (i.e. electrons and
photons).

pemahaman siswa tentang fenomena revolusioner mulai bermunculan. Seperti apakah
foton).
TASK 3
Abstract: One of the goals of learning physics and a necessity of the present curriculum is
the development of problem-solving skills. One of the physics issues that receive a lot of
attention in the learning process is Newton’s law of motion. At the time of resolving
Newton’s legal matter of motion, learners must use various aspects of their ability and rules.
The purpose of this research is to reveal how learners’ ability toward the aspects of
capabilities and the rules. Studies have shown that most learners are able to write correct
equations, solutions, and units for each problem. The participant's capacity to identify the
axis coordinates, which indicate the diagram of free objects, express a trend, define the
results style, and define the direction of motion, however, is still insufficient. Students still
frequently develop mathematical solutions to physics challenges. Therefore, physics study,
which requires engaged students to learn in collaboration, peer collaboratively, and think in a
procedural manner, could be used as an alternative learning strategy.
TASK 4
SCRIPT FILM
Barbie:
What’s wrong, Shelly?
Shelly:
I can’t sleep. The bed’s all bumpy.
Barbie:
I remember my first sleep-away camp. It takes a day or two to get used to things.
Shelly:
I’ll never get used to it!
Barbie:
But you were looking forward to race day tomorrow. You’re part of the team!
Shelly:
Somebody else can run for me.
Barbie:
It wouldn’t be the same without you. We’d really miss you!
Shelly:
I just want to go home!
Barbie:
Look over there, do you see those two big stars and the four little ones in a row?
Shelly:
Sort of.
Barbie:
Well, that’s the constellation Cygnus. It’s a swan. Imagine the four stars are the long neck, the
big stars are the body, and running crosswise, those stars are the wings.
Shelly:
I see it!
Barbie:
Did you know there was once a girl who turned into a swan?
Shelly:
She did? How?
Barbie:
Her name was Odette.
Barbie:
She worked in the family bakery with her sister and her father.
Shelly:
But you said she was a swan.
Barbie:
Not at first!
Odette:
Oh! Papa!
Baker
Odette, you’re a wonderful dancer! You should go to the village dances with your sister!
Odette:
And have everybody stared at me? I--I couldn’t.
Baker:
Ah, but you’d have fun and--
Baker:
Oh! The Cornbread
Baker:
Sugar cookies are your favorite!
Shelly:
Make it chocolate chip. That’s my favorite!
Barbie:
Okay.
Odette:
Mmm, chocolate chip! You work too hard, papa.
Baker:
What can I do? You and Mary keep eating the inventory.
Odette:
Any faster and you’ll be flying!
Mary:
That’s the idea! Come on, I’m heading out again-- you’ll love it!
Odette:
Uh, thanks, but--
Mary:
“No thanks”, right?
Odette:
Right. I thought you might want breakfast, Marie.
Mary:
Apple muffin, juice. You’re gold, Odette!
I’ll be back to help soon!
Baker:
Was that your sister?
Odette:
Here and gone, papa. Flying like the wind.
Reggie:
Oh-ho-ho-kay. But can you make it four for four?
Daniel:
What do you say I hit that top sack over there?
Reggie:
Hahaha, all the way over there?
Are you kidding? It’s impossible!
Daniel:
Ah, my favorite word!
Reggie:
Amazing! Oh-ho-ho, Amazing, your highness!
Daniel:
Thank you, Reggie!
The Queen:
Oh my! Hmph!
Daniel:
Mother!...Sorry.
The Queen:
More target practice?
The Queen:
I came to give you these. They’re all responses from princesses coming to the Royal Ball.
Eligible Princesses. You need to pick a bride.
Daniel:
Ah, but--
The Queen:
Well, I’m tired, son. Soon you’ll take over the throne! I want to spend my golden years
spoiling my grandchildren.
Daniel:
Mother, you know I’ll marry someday, but first I want to do so much! Explore, travel…
The Queen:
And so you shall!... After my grandchildren.
Odette:
Hey, you!
Okay, okay!
There you go.
I don’t believe it!
ORIGINAL TRANSLATION
Barbie:
Ada apa, Shelly?
Shelly:
Aku tidak bisa tidur, kasurnya keras sekali
Barbie:
Shelly:
Mungkinkah?
Barbie:
Ok, ia bintang signus berbentuk angsa. Bayangkan bintang pertama leher, badan yang besar,
dan selebihnya menjadi sayap.
Shelly:
Aku melihatnya!
Barbie:
Kau tahu?
Shelly:
Tetapi kau bilang, dia angsa.
Barbie:
Tidak pada mulanya!
Odette:
Oh! Ayah!
Baker:
Odette:
Dan semua orang melihatku? Aku.. aku tidak bisa.
Baker:
Ah, setidaknya kau akan merasa bahagia..
Baker:
Oh! Cornbread!
Kue manis, kesukaanmu!
Shelly:
Buatlah menjadi chocochip. Aku suka!
Barbie:
Oke.
Odette:
Mmm, cip coklat! Kasian ayah lelah.
Baker:
Apa yang bisa aku lakukan? Kau dan Mary memakan semua kuenya.
Odette:
Cepat sekali, kau akan bisa jadi terbang!
Mary:
Itulah maksudnya! Ayo kita pergi sama-sama-- kau akan menyukainya!
Odette:
Uh, terima kasih, tetapi--
Mary:
Kau tak bisa, kan?
Odette:
Ok. Mari sarapan.
Mary:
Pai apel, jus. Terima kasih, Odette!
Saya akan kembali tidak lama lagi!
Baker:
Mana adikmu itu?
Odette:
Dia sudah datang dan pergi lagi, ayah. Sekarang seolah-olah dia mempunyai sayap.
Reggie:
Oh-o-o-ke. Tetapi boleh buat empat kali berturut-turut?
Daniel:
Reggie:
Hahaha, jauh sekali!
kamu bercanda? Itu tak mungkin!
Daniel:
Ah, perkataan yang aku sukai!
Reggie:
Hebat sekali! Oh-ho-ho, hebat, tuanku!
Daniel:
Terima kasih, Reggie!
The Queen:
Oh tidak! Hmmm!
Daniel:
Ibu!...maaf.
The Queen:
Berlatih memanah?
The Queen:
Daniel:
Ah, tetapi--
The Queen:
Ibu lelah, anakku. Tidak lama lagi kamu akan naik tahta! Aku ingin menghabiskan hari tua ku
bermain dengan cucu-cucu.
Daniel:
Bu, kau tahu suatu hari aku akan menikah! Tetapi pertama aku ingin melakukan banyak hal,
menjelajah
The Queen:
Lakukan apa yang ingin kau lakukan, tetapi setelah aku mendapatkan cucu.
Odette:
Ha ha Hey, kau!
Okay, okay!
Pergi main jauh-jauh.
Aku tidak bisa percaya!
