The newly developed FINE print head used on the PIXMA iP5000 is able to eject ink droplets just 1 pl in size, in addition to 5 pl droplets. This enables
further reductions in graininess.

The PIXMA iP5000 is also capable of achieving high resolution of 9,600* x 2,400 dpi. 1 pl ink droplets and 9,600 dpi* resolution are combined to ensure
even smoother gradation reproduction than in the past over all regions, from highlights to dark areas.

Similarly, technically advanced utilisation of both 1 pl and 5 pl ink droplets PIXMA iP5000 4-colour model
enables high image quality and high speed.

In addition, the PIXMA iP5000 uses Photo Black ink to increase the overall
contrast of images. This makes it possible to produce photo prints with a three-
dimensional feel.
