THE LITTLE HORN

CLAIMING TO BE CHRIST = BLASPHEMY

thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.

Mat 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see

Mat 26:65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further
need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

CLAIMING TO BE GOD’S EQUALL = BLASPHEMY

John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy;
and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

CLAIMING TO BE JEW/CHRISTIAN= BLASPHEMY

Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the
blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

PERSECUTING/WEARING OUT THE SAINTS

Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and
power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of
her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God,
and the faith of Jesus.
1Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the
saints.

OFTEN, PERSECUTION HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO OPPOSE POPULAR BELIEF, THOSE WHO KEEPS
GOD’S COMMANDMENTS

1Kings 18:17-18 And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he
that troubleth Israel? And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house,
in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.

1. Daniel 3:12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of
Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve
not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

2. Daniel 6:5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find
it against him concerning the law of his God.

3. Matthew 16:12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread,
but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Mark 12:12 And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that
he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.

4. Acts 21:27 And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they
saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,

Act 21:28 Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where
against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the
temple, and hath polluted this holy place.

Note: the law, which Paul was against, was sacrificial. We’ll learn more of this in our next lesson.

CHANGING GOD’S LAWS AND TIME

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of
the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time
and times and the dividing of time.

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day
from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

John 11:9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he
stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

Mark 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary
Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

When does day starts and end?

Genesis 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the
morning were the first day.
Levheticus 23:32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth
day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

Luke 13:14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had
healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to
work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

Mark 1:32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and
them that were possessed with devils.

When does week starts and end? The world is in confussion

JESUS DID NOT CHANGE THE LAWS

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to
destroy, but to fulfil.

Mat 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever
shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

Mat 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in
danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the
council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed
adultery with her already in his heart.

TIME, TIMES AND A DIVIDING OF TIME

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of
the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time
and times and the dividing of time.

Time = 1 year
Times = 2 year
Dividing of time = 0.5 year
This total to: 1+2+0.5 = 3.5 years

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two
hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that
they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the
wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the
face of the serpent.

Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power
was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

1260 days divide by 30 days to get months = 42 months

3.5 years multiply by 12 months to get months = 42 months
42 months multiply by 30 days to get days = 1260 days
To get years 42 divide by 12 months = 3.5 years

WE CAN INTERPRET THIS TIME FIGURATIVELY OR LITERALLY

Genesis 15:13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land
that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

Genesis 41:26 The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the
dream is one.

Numbers 14:34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each
day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of
promise.

Ezekiel 4:6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear
the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.

BUT IF WE TAKE THIS TIME LITERALLY, WE FIND NO KING AFTER THE TEN WHO RULLED FOR THIS
TIME IN ROME, UNLESS IF IT IS STILL TO COME. IF WE TAKE THIS TIME FIGURATIVELY AS IN NUMERS
AND EZEKIEL, THEN THE TIME IS FULFILLED. INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH YEARS, WE DEAL WITH
DAYS. CONVERTING 3.5 YEARS TO 1260 DAYS THEN 1260 YEARS ACCORDING TO THE ABOVE BOOK.
WHAT A FULFILLMENT OF PROPHECY

WHAT! WHO FULFILLED ALL THAT? HISTORICALLY

1. COMES AFTER THE TEN KINGS OF ROME

point was the Papal See. Therefore, inevitably, resulted a position not only new, but very different

2. THREE KINGS ARE REMOVED/UPROOTED

“Seven of the ten Barbarian kingdoms were converted to Christianity and submitted to the authority
of the Bishop of Rome. However, three of the kingdoms converted to Christianity but embraced the
heretical teachings of Arius. Arius (who was presbyter in Alexandria around the year 320 A.D.) taught
that ‘Christ was created out of nothing as the first and greatest of all creatures’ (Loraine Boettner,
Baker’s Dictionary of Theology, pp. 64-65).

3. PLEASURE/EVIL/LUSTS

Cases of child sexual abuse by Catholic priests , nuns and members of religious orders, and
subsequent cover-ups, in the 20th and 21st centuries have led to numerous allegations,
investigations, trials and convictions. The abused include boys and girls, some as young as 3 years
old, with the majority between the ages of 11 and 14. ..Cases have also been brought against
members of the Catholic hierarchy who covered up sex abuse allegations and moved abusive priests

media and public attention in some countries , especially in Ireland , Canada , Australia, and the

4. BLASPHEMES/ SPEAK AGAINST GOD

from the throne by Pope Pius XI, who said: "you know that I am the Holy Father, the representative
of God on the earth, the Vicar of Christ, which means I am God on the earth."-Pope Pius XI, quoted in
The Bulwark, October, 1922, p. 104 [Pius XI (1857-1939) was pope from 1922-1939, and was the one
who signed the Treaty of the Lateran with Mussolini in 1929, whereby Vatican City was established.
He consistently backed Mussolini's policies and government until he met with military reverses].

sins to be found in the Catholic Church, as Isaias had foretold in these words: The people that dwell
therein shall have their iniquity taken away from them; but also that in her resides the power of

John Huss : “My brethren, . . . I am departing with a safe-conduct from the king to meet my
numerous and mortal enemies. . . . I confide altogether in the all-powerful God, in my Saviour; I trust
that He will listen to your ardent prayers,…” Bonnechose, vol. 1, pp. 147, 148.

Jerome : “You condemned Wycliffe and John Huss, not for having shaken the doctrine of the church,
but simply because they branded with reprobation the scandals proceeding from the clergy--their
pomp, their pride, and all the vices of the prelates and priests. The things which they have affirmed,
and which are irrefutable, I also think and declare, like them”. Bonnechose,vol. 2, pp. 151-153.

Luther : “Who was I," he writes, "to oppose the majesty of the pope, before whom ... the kings of
the earth and the whole world trembled?” D'Aubigne. b. 3, ch. 6

Zwingli , Tyndale, Charles Wesley, etc. All these men saw Catholic Bishopery as Antichrist
