I chose French 10 and Physics 12 for my academic achievements.

I picked these two specific courses

which one is the most proud course and the other one is the most modest course of my entire school
life. The most proud course is French 10 and I can call it an achievement. However, the modest course
which is Physics 12, I would call it for my growth. When I was in grade 10, I took French 10. It was
the first time for me to speak, listen, read, and even see the language called French. Even though it
was the first time for me to learn French, I put effort into the course and I got 95% on the final mark.
On the other hand, for Physics 12, I got the lowest mark that I got from my entire high school. Most
people might think that achievement is something that is the best work. Despite that I would say this
is one of my academic achievements that led me to the extended thought. Physics 12 was the one and
only hardest course and I put all of my abilities into this course and even if I got 60% in the final
mark, I could say I carry out a lot from this course.
I chose these two courses as my academic achievement because as a perfectionist, I was so
proud of my grade of my French 10 and Physics 12 got me into new thought through the process of
learning complicated concepts that not only the final mark is worthy. Also, my understanding skill
takes more time and effort to understand complex concepts than others.
My second language being English, I already had my own strategies and approaches for
learning new languages. Due to the slight differences between English and French, I had to apply
other methods and gain additional information, including how to practise new sounds in order to
speak French words. I acquired the abilities necessary for me to devise and attempt numerous
techniques in order to achieve the goal I had set for myself in French 10. I'm a mathematician initially
and a scientist afterwards. However, I do enjoy comprehending and learning new things. Since the
eleventh grade, biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science have been the four divisions of science.
I always took Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from grade 11 to grade 12. It features unique study
habits for physics, chemistry, and biology. I have to absorb the concepts in biology, apply them in the
actual world, and memorise them. I need to practise and learn the ideas in chemistry. I have to fully
understand the principles in physics and constantly watch videos, but even just trying to understand
the idea was challenging for me. Even the basics took a long time to learn. I suppose that since I don't
tutor, asking teachers for help wasn't enough for me. Despite that, in an attempt to fully understand the
ideas more quickly and thoroughly, I developed my own habits. By the time the physics courses were
over, I didn't receive the grade I had hoped for, but I had learned that the way I learn and possess my
skills is more significant than just the grade because in school, marking and grading are done in a
short amount of time, but if I had more time, I would learn more effectively. By experiencing these
academic achievements, I was able to create my own study habits or approaches that improved my
conceptual knowledge.
I knew going into physics that it would not be an easy course for me. Through these two
classes, I am fully aware that everything, even the seemingly insignificant tasks, require more effort
than I initially believed in order to accomplish what I intend. Therefore, falling short of my
expectations is not a failure; rather, it teaches me how to be more precise in the future. Also, striving
for perfection isn't necessarily a desirable thing.
Being able to speak French would be beneficial if one were to reside in Canada, where both
English and French are spoken. I have several strategies I can use in Physics 12 to develop a solid
understanding of new ideas and information. I could use these techniques in my studies at the
university and in college to build a solid foundation.
