Sourcing Your Products

This is very important! We now have the first digital product we want to
move forward with. At this stage we’re going to look at the three options we
have to actually get the product content in our hands. Each of these options
has potential depending on the situation you are in.

Don’t worry about the names, colors, or anything else. Only make sure that
the piece of content is based on the idea from yesterday’s video.

In the upcoming videos we’re going to create our value propositions and
make the names and design how the products look from the outside.

Option #1: PLR Content

If you want to stay as low budget as possible, or want to start selling ASAP
I recommend PLR content.

PLR content is essentially just different content types that you can
purchase the rights to for much cheaper than it would cost to have made.

It’s also instant! Things like courses, worksheets, and ebooks are all
available on https://www.plr.me/

You may want to modify the product's content based upon how it matches
up to your product idea after purchasing.

Option #2: Freelancer

If you have some budget and want to get the exact product you’re looking
for without having to modify it, freelancers are the way to go.
Any type of digital product can be made by a freelancer. I prefer to use
https://www.fiverr.com/ and have been using it for years.

Example: I can find someone to write about a topic, have that turned into
an ebook, and then have an actor present the information via video
however I want.

For my example breathwork PDF I’d estimate the cost would be $50-$150
to have someone really follow my lead and create something wonderful.

Option #3: Selfmade

The only way to have something done perfectly is to do it yourself. BUT

that doesn’t mean you always should.

If you’re not used to being in front of a camera it’s probably best you don’t
sell a video course. But instead you could keep practicing until you’re
confident enough.

The only time I recommend you make your own digital product is if you are
experienced in the niche and have a strong idea (I have many clients who
do this).

For my example we’ve been using I’m going to write about the subject
because it’s something that I personally am experienced in and have a
strong idea for. After I complete the writing in a google doc like this I will
send it off to a writer on Fiverr to make everything a bit more readable.
After all, I’m no author.
