SUMMARY

Evil Robot Monkey

by Daissy Torres

The story tells about a monkey called Sly that seemed have an implant of human
brain in his head, which it making him cleverer than the other chimps.

One day Sly was turning the potter’s wheel and he was making a vase of clay,
suddenly, a hit in his window it scared him and the vase fall, so he got so angry that
he threw the fresh clay vase at the window.
Some children had gone to visit the chimps and Dalilah "the owner or the boss of
the place" decided to take them to see Sly without consulting him.

This situation got angry him, because he said that he wasn't like other animal,
however, he also did not know how to control his anger.

Vern, a worker from the place went to talk to Sly, told him that
because he had not controlled his anger, Dalilah had ordered
to remove the clay. Although Sly was very angry, he let Vern
take the clay from another vase he was making. When Vern
leaves, he slyly tells Sly to use the clay from the first vase he
had thrown at the window to continue working with clay.

Reflection
I think the story can be very profound, because it
carries me to think in the purpose of human being.

I explain: Although Sly had an implant in him head, he

allowed himself to be dominated by his anger,
therefore, he could not be fully human.

Therefore, I think that what differentiates human

beings from other animals is that they have the ability
to control their instincts, although it cost more some
that the others.
