REFLECTION;

- Not all things we low to do can help us, just like Rebecca Bloomwood the first part of her
movie, to the point she can’t resist her way to buy things that make her big debt in her credit
card. She keeps spending her money to buy clothes and other stuff that she loves. Though it is
not necessary. We all have wants, we do everything what it takes just to have them, without
thinking if it is necessary for us or not. We buy things to make us look, cool and classy. We
spend money to own things others doesn’t have so we can say that we are different from
others. We buy things so that they look at and praise us, we build our image through things
we possessed. That’s why we fine us how we dress or how we look. But our character was not
defined by our material-self. Let us remember all things have will left in this world after we
die. We need to cherish every moment of our life. We pleasure all things, but we create
memories and share moments to others. We must value friendship and others relationship
more than we value things that we don’t necessary need.
- Another thing that this movie taught me is that we need to be firmed about the decisions we
make in our lives; we must take every decision seriously. And when we decide we must
possess the character that suit the decision we’ve made. Just like in the movie, Rebecca
decides to work us an editor or writer in a financial magazine, she writes advice and tips on
how people must handle their financial, but she is debt at first place. Her character as person
doesn’t matched to her decision and being a financial editor and a magazine that’s why she
has no choice but to cover up herself with lies that beings her more trouble. She broke the
trust of people around her and the worse she broke the trust of the man she loves.
LESSON 7: Supernatural’s Believe it or Not

ASSESMENT ACTIVITIES

2. God of the water
3. God of the Falls
4. God of the clef

REFLECTION:

1.) Make a list of what you want to achieve in life, what are your goals? (Give at least 10)

1. To become a good father of my children.

2. Become a thought leader to your industry.
3. To improve my teaching skills, and to be a good teacher too.
4. A good missionary/ preacher.
5. A loyal follower of Jesus Christ.
6. To give all the good things to my children.
7. To help those who are in needs.
8. Become an inspiration to others.
9. To improve my music skill.
10. Go to heaven.

2.) Classify each goal according to your beliefs/religion you are following

1. A good father of my children.

- According to Ephesians 6:1 Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will
not depart from it. As a Seventh Day Adventist and a father I need to follow what is written in
the bible.

2. A good leader.
- A good follower of Jesus Christ must be a good leader also.

3. A good teacher.
- When Jesus was on earth, he is a good teacher to his disciples, and that was God wants us to do,
too.

4. A good missionary/preacher.
- This is what Jesus did while he is here on earth, he is preaching to the people.

5. A good follower of Jesus Christ.

- If I will follow Jesus Christ, he will surely never leave us, and he will save in his second coming.

6. To give all the good want of my children.

- As a father of two children, I know that I can’t afford the most expensive things in the world, but
I can give them the love of the father that they wanted. Because nothing is more expensive in
this world than a happy family.

7. Help those who are in needs.

- One of my goal in life is to help those people who’s in hunger, orphans, those beggars. Just like
what Jesus did when he’s on earth.

8. Be an inspiration to others.
- To bring inspiration not only to my daughters but also to those people that studying in their old
age, just like me, I know I’m already in mid-30’s but I believe that I can get through this and I can
graduate, maybe sometimes we lost hope, but we have our family’s that always encourage us to
do more and do much better. And I believe that if I will do my best, God will do the rest. And I
hope if I’ll achieve what I am pursuing right now, soon many will appreciate it, and they will
make it as their inspiration.

9. To improve my music skills.

- I am good at singing and listening into music, and using different tones of music such as
soprano, bass, etc. but, I know I still have a lot learn in music, and I am looking forward to it. I
maybe not capable of preaching/messaging but through singing I can help to spread God’s word.

10. Go to heaven.
- I believe that I am not the only one who wants to achieve this goal. Almost everyone probably
wishing to go with God in heaven in his second coming. I need to do my best to be a good
person and to follow his commandments. I am not perfect, I know but god promised to save us
again even if we are so sinner, only if we swore to him and trust him. He’ll probably forgive us.

REFLECTION;

3.) Choose 5 goals and come up with the steps on how you can attain those goals.

1. a good father of a few children as a father I can attain these goals if I will pursue to do and find ways
to support my family.
2. A good teacher, to these parts I will do my best as a volunteer teacher so that my student will learned
all the lesson that I taught them.

3. To be a good leader I can attained these good leadership first in my family, they are my number one
supporter and in my family I can show my good leadership and they are the first who’ll witnessed those
good things that I have done.

4. A good follower with Jesus Christ, if I follow the footstep of God, I might attain this goal.

5. Being a missionary is hard specially if you are just a first timer, and, you’ll be away to your children,
you will barely see them because of how far your working. But, as the time pass by you will also get used
to it, because of course your wife is with you. We’ll miss our children but, I know that they can
understand us, because its our duty not just working for money, but to spread God’s word also. And to
be a good missionary, you need to be a good example to them.

4) How your spiritual life can help you attained your goals. It helped me a lot as a seventh day Adventist
to be able to achieve my goals because I don’t drink liquor, and cigarettes and I fear God.
