My first thoughts on the overall project is that it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.

One

example is that all the papers we had to write didn't take a lot of time and were easy to write.

Even though this project wasn’t hard, I believe that doing these projects really isn’t necessary. I

don’t see how they will help us much in the future, plus it was overwhelming with how many

deadlines we had.

In the beginning I procrastinated the most, because I didn’t know where to start. Once I

found my mentor, it got easier and everything else was pretty easy. If I started procrastinating

again, I would look back at the handbook for help. If I could tell future students about my

project, I would tell them to not procrastinate like I did. I was overwhelmed with everything,

which caused me to procrastinate, but each part wasn’t as hard as I thought it’d be. Initially, I

thought that senior projects would be harder than it was, but taking each due date step by step

was easy.

The most challenging parts of my project were finding a mentor and trying to sell my

jewelry. Since handmade resin jewelry isn't very common, it was hard to find my mentor. Also,

with me just starting to make jewelry, it was hard to be able to advertise and sell it. I thought I

would be able to sell my jewelry a lot easier, but it was tougher than I expected.

I believe I could teach others what I learned, because creating basic handmade resin

jewelry is an easy process. With other techniques and designs, I could teach people the ones I

have learned. I have also learned more about how a business works and if I ever create my own

business, I know that it’d be a difficult process to get started.

The most important thing I learned personally was that I work better with topics that I

have interest in. Being so, I believe I did a good job on my project, even though I thought this

would be a difficult project overall. I also learned that I could definitely see myself opening my
own business making resin jewelry, along with many artistic products and events. I’m proud that

I could connect with Lisa and be able to easily learn each thing she taught me. I also am proud

that I could complete this project to the best of my ability.
