This cover letter will accompany my resume. The position I desire to apply for is a Town of Ajax
Landscaper, Job Posting 998. I am more than happy to have the opportunity to meet you with an
interview.

I strongly believe I am a suitable candidate for this position, as I possess the critical skills and abilities
required to perform the job. I have spent over 2 summers building up experience in planting and
knowledge of landscaping. For example, a landscaper requires patience to tasks to be completed such
as planting and weeding. I am able to carry out these tasks with notable efficiency and work on tasks
for long periods of time. A landscaper also accounts for being able to work in different weather
conditions such as hot or rainy days. I am able to adapt to unstable environments and be able to
complete tasks regardless of the weather. Landscapers must be able to work with garden tools, and
my previous experience in gardening has given me knowledge on how to use these different tools
with efficiency. My experience from other volunteering opportunities and jobs proves that I will be
able to take on the role of a responsible landscaper.
