EXT. DAVENPORT BIONIC ISLAND-DAY

SKYLAR scours the partially-wrecked academy, looking for any signs of

life. She speaks into the communications device.

SKYLAR
Bree, come in, do you read me?

DOUGLAS (O.S.)
Yes, Skylar, we read you.

SKYLAR
Nice try with the vocal manipulation, Bree.

DOUGLAS (O.S.)
No, it’s Douglas! Apparently, Reese’s attack gave me powers and when
Kaz revived me, it triggered them.

SKYLAR
Hold up, Kaz gave you superpowers? Does he know how dangerous that
is?

KAZ (O.S.)
I did it in his best interest, Skylar! Now let’s focus on finding
Chase and Oliver.

SKYLAR
About Chase…I can see into the academy infirmary currently, since
that wall was knocked down. He isn’t there.

KAZ (O.S.)
So he got up to find the others?

DOUGLAS (O.S.)
Or the shapeshifters kidnapped him.

SKYLAR
Glad Douglas told you about that. But didn’t Mr. Davenport ground
you?

DOUGLAS (O.S.)
I knew there was a catch.

KAZ (O.S.)
 Look, I’m just as much a part of this team as any of you. I have a
big family, so it’s not like they’re missing much.

SKYLAR
Of course I know that. You and Oliver have been my friends for ages.

Skylar’s phone rings. Skylar looks at it.

SKYLAR
Oh, a CalderaTime call.

KAZ (O.S)
What’s that?

SKYLAR
Just a call from my friend for even more ages.

Skylar puts away the communications device to reveal her Calderan

friend SHANNON on the screen. Shannon has a grim expression on her
face.

SKYLAR
Shannon, it’s been so long.

SHANNON (T.P.)
Too long, in fact. The opposition are winning.

SKYLAR
Winning? That’s terrible, how so?

SHANNON (T.P.)
They’ve begun collecting people’s pets and imprisoning them.

SKYLAR
Including my dorenbosh Kakai-Rata-Hee-Haw-Muaauk-Floopy-Pa-zoing?

SHANNON (T.P.)
Yep, including her. Hapax was devastated.

SKYLAR
Oh dear. This is really bad. I have to help her.

SHANNON (T.P.)
 When we fished Scarlett’s body out of that lava pool and did her
autopsy, she had double signatures of portal creation powers. Was
that you who killed her?

SKYLAR
I never intended anything of the sort. However, I was trapped in a
cage while I witnessed her death by her own hand. She did take my
portal creation though. But my boyfriend gave me his wormhole
transporter before he disappeared.

SHANNON (T.P.)
You have a boyfriend? Congrats.

SKYLAR
Yeah, his name’s Oliver. But we like to keep it quiet.

SHANNON (T.P.)
Can you come please?

SKYLAR
My obligation is to my team. But if I must, I will.

SHANNON (T.P.)
Great!

SKYLAR
I’ll be able to help both of my homes if we don’t take too long.

SHANNON (T.P.)
There is the time difference between Earth and here, Skylar, or have
you forgotten?

SKYLAR
I’m coming.

SHANNON (T.P.)
Good, we really need you here. If you don’t come I fear the
opposition will win.

SKYLAR
See you soon.

Skylar pulls out the wormhole transporter she “borrowed” from

Oliver, suddenly feeling guilty as he really could’ve used it to
escape wherever he is. She goes through to Caldera leaving a message
for Kaz.

INT. DARK BASEMENT OF UNKNOWN FACILITY

Right where we left off from the previous episode:

ROLAND
Yeah, I don’t think you’ll get the chance to use it, you will all be
far too dead by then. Father wasn’t kidding when he said Roman and
Riker were the nice ones.

ROLAND shapeshifts into a dark cloud, shooting to the roof then

heading quickly towards Daniel. ADAM and LEO guard everyone behind
him.

ADAM
Oh no you don’t, everyone get back!

LEO
Do what he says, people!

DANIEL suddenly shapeshifts into Roland. ROMAN and RIKER walk in.

DANIEL (ROLAND)
Roman! Riker! The kid has superpowers! We need to get rid of him!

ROLAND
No! I’m not the kid! He is!

DANIEL (ROLAND)
I think you know your own brother, I mean what would father say if-

ROMAN
Yes of course I know my own brother!

RIKER
Which one?

ROMAN
The dumb one obviously!

Roman points at his actual brother.

ROLAND
 You're making a huge mistake!

ROMAN
I don’t think so!

Roland pulls out a laser gun.

ROLAND
This gun is designed to melt the strongest metal on Earth, bionic
boy!

ROLAND shoots his brother who melts so fast there is nothing but
smoke left. Daniel shapeshifts into Roman.

DANIEL (ROMAN)
C’mon, we need to go help our father.

RIKER
Yes, Roman.

Daniel leaves followed by Roland and Riker. He heads up to the

control room along with them.

DANIEL (ROMAN)
Would you go get the other superheroes please?

Riker turns to go get Oliver and Roman starts to follow but snakes
around.

ROMAN
Please?

DANIEL (ROLAND)
NOW!

Daniel hits the big red button on the console and alarms start
blaring as the basement cell door opens wide. All the bionics run
out, instructed by Taylor while Adam, Leo and Oliver run up to the
control room to see Roman holding Daniel by the neck.

ROMAN
Not one more step unless you want the kid to die.
Daniel is kicking and clawing trying to get free of his grasp.

ROLAND
Stupid kid! You made me kill my brother. Not that I'm not happy he’s
gone but once father finds out-

RODISSIUS enters the room.

RODISSIUS (O.S.)
Once I found out what?

INT. BREE AND SKYLAR’S BEDROOM - EVENING

BREE
I am really hoping that this works.

She starts texting someone - which the camera doesn’t show - and
gives a desperate look as it could be a last resort for something.

The camera angle changes this time to see the contact name: HORACE
DIAZ. Previous messages can be seen all coming from the phone Bree is
holding.

PREVIOUS MESSAGES
6 months ago
Oliver you and Kaz are late again.
The Crusher broke his leg again.
Sorry Kaz got stuck in the UFO again.

5 weeks ago
Horace this is Oliver, are you and Alan ok?
We haven’t heard from you guys..

3 weeks ago
Did you guys even get out of the hospital?
You can’t be dead… you are Caduceo!

2 days ago

I won’t give up on you guys.

I won’t believe you guys are gone until I see a body.

YESTERDAY
 Where are you?

Bree begins typing…

“I know this is a longshot but here it goes. Horace, this is Bree,

the bionic girl who was with my ‘rude brother’ at Mighty Med. We
really need your help. Oliver has been taken, along with my two
brothers with the rest of the bionic students from the academy. Chase
has also gone missing and we are in desperate need of your help.
Roman, Riker, Roland, Reese, and Rodissius need to be stopped as they
are attacking us everywhere. You're the only one who can help.”

BREE
What if this doesn’t work?

INT. CALDERAN CAVE

Skylar walks through the wormhole and looks around to see she’s in a
cave.

SKYLAR
Shannon!? Kakai-Rata-Hee-Haw-Mwuaak-Floopy-Pa-zoing?!

SHANNON
Wait, Skylar! We think we’ve located them.

SKYLAR
Really? Where?

SHANNON
In one of the volcanoes the rebellion took over. We are in one of the
caves near the volcano. Our sources tell us they are harvesting some
sort of new power from the DNA of the Dorenbosch.

SKYLAR
Wait… has it been hurting them?

SHANNON
We don’t think so, it supposedly drains their energy, but if they are
pushed beyond their limits...

SKYLAR
We have to find them!

INT. A CAVE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF CALDERA - DAY

ZOOM IN ON: A LIT-UP PHONE SHOWING:

‘Smart normo that is responsible for dumb normo.’

“I know this is a longshot, but here it goes. Horace, this is Bree,

the bionic girl who was with my ‘rude brother’ at Mighty Med. We
really need your help. Oliver has been taken, along with my two
brothers with the rest of the bionic students from the academy. Chase
has also gone missing and we are in desperate need of your help.
Roman, Riker, Roland, Reese, and Rodissius need to be stopped as they
are attacking us everywhere. You're the only one who can help.”

ZOOM OUT TO REVEAL THE PERSON HOLDING THE PHONE: HORACE, with ALAN
and two CALDERAN OFFICIALS standing behind him.

INT. MISSION COMMAND - DAY

Bree and DAVENPORT are at the cyberdesk, searching through files.

BREE
And we’re certain they’re not under the academy?

DAVENPORT
Even if they had been at some point, I’m sure Rodissius would find it
way too easy. We’re gonna need a different approach for this.

BREE
I’m super fast, can’t I just…

DAVENPORT
What can you possibly have to do? Sorry, I’m just somewhat upset
right now.

BREE
Because you kicked Kaz out?

DAVENPORT
And we lost Oliver and Chase. Shapeshifters are still at large. We’re
gonna need the bionic students, especially if we’re fighting them.

BREE
As well as the superheroes?

DAVENPORT
 Naturally. We’re gonna need all the help we can get. Did they leave
behind evidence?

BREE
Give me a moment and I’ll superspeed through the island.

DAVENPORT
Right while she’s doing that-

BREE
I’m back! And look what I found…

Douglas walks in, having been resting. Bree reveals a baby blue
colored orb in a glass cube that seems similar to the Arcturion.

DOUGLAS
What is that?

DAVENPORT
I don’t know. Maybe we do need more help...

BREE
We need Kaz. You can’t ground him at a time like this! I know he
upset you, but we need him. He is the only one here who understands
all this superhero stuff. Plus, we need to be a team to beat
Rodissius.

DAVENPORT
You’re right. I’ll call Kaz now.

Mr. Davenport pauses.

DAVENPORT (CON’T)
Kaz!

INT. MISSION COMMAND-MINUTES LATER

KAZ runs in.

KAZ
Mr. Davenport listen, I’m so sorry-

DAVENPORT
 Don’t be, I understand we are all stressed here. I shouldn’t have
divided the team. Do you know what this is?

Kaz turns to see the orb and the camera zooms up on his shocked face.

INT. CONTROL ROOM OF ROMAN AND RIKER’S HOLDING FACILITY

Rodissius, Roland, Riker, and the other siblings, with the exception
of Reese, are gathered to discuss the situation.

RODISSIUS
Again, once I found out what?

ROLAND
Roman is dead. The bionic kids did it.

RODISSIUS
How disgusting. Tell me where Reese took Chase.

RIKER
To a restaurant.

RODISSIUS
Our plan to turn their leader to the dark side is coming along
nicely.

Rodissius’ son RALPH speaks up.

RALPH
Hopefully they caught the fake Arcturion as bait.

RODISSIUS
The better to defer from the fact we have the real one.

RALPH
Father, mind showing off a bit?

Rodissius laughs and shapeshifts his hand into a sledgehammer.

RODISSIUS
It’s an utter miracle. And it works much better than my old powers.

RALPH
I wonder if we should let the kids go.
 RODISSIUS
Let them go? Have you gone soft?

RALPH
We mustn’t let them find their friends. It’s far too risky to our
plans.

ROLAND
They can only be released by someone with one of our faces, and we
put power dampeners on them.

RIKER
Except one of them may not be bionic.

RODISSIUS
If they escape, I’m gonna pick one of you to sacrifice. Anyone up for
the task?

Everyone looks at Rodissius, breathing heavily.

INT. CALDERAN OPPOSITION PENITENTIARY

Skylar arrives to see dorenbosches in the jail.

SKYLAR
Kakai-Rata-Hee-Haw-Mwuaak-Floopy-Pa-zoing?

Horace arrives, and runs to hug Skylar, having recognized her by the
name of her dorenbosch.

HORACE
Skylar! It’s so good to see you.

SKYLAR
I’m so glad you survived the destruction of Mighty Med. When we saw
superheroes, we didn’t see you.

HORACE
I had a bit too much fun with the wormhole transporter. Climbed some
Calderan bridges.

SKYLAR
You sure love your bridges. Are the other superheroes here too?
 ALAN
I’m here!

SKYLAR
Oh… you survived. Yay.

ALAN
Was that sarcasm I detected?

SKYLAR
No, of course not. Horace, why haven’t you returned our calls or
texts. Oliver especially has been worried sick.

HORACE
I couldn’t risk it. I couldn’t bring Rodissius here with the
rebellion and…

SKYLAR
And?

HORACE
Alan is sick.

SKYLAR
He doesn't look sick.

HORACE
It’s an internal illness that only takes hold of him at night. We
don’t have the materials here to help him. The best I can do is treat
his fever at night.

SKYLAR
You know… Oliver has a box of equipment he saved from Mighty Med…
Would that help?

HORACE
He does?

SKYLAR
In fact, I know where it is. Would you like to borrow this wormhole
transporter?

EXT. WAREHOUSE FACILITY - DAY

Leo, Adam, Daniel and Oliver are trapped in the warehouse along with
a bunch of students.

DANIEL
How do we get out of here?

LEO
Patience.

DANIEL
What?

LEO
Patience as we figure out how to get out of this dang box.

OLIVER
Maybe we could dig open the walls to see if there’s anything behind
it that can get us out?

ADAM
Great, I’ll go get shovels!

Adam starts to run and get “shovels”.

LEO
Adam.

ADAM
What?

LEO
There’s literally nothing in here. We need to dig open the walls and
I’m sure someone has powers to break open walls.

Everyone looks at Adam.

ADAM
I don’t know if I can open those brick walls.

OLIVER
Just try, Adam. Tear this place apart.

ADAM
If you say so. I’d advise all of you to huddle in a ball in the
middle of the room.
 OLIVER
Oh come on, Adam.

LEO
I don’t want to smell a bunch of people’s breaths.

DANIEL
Believe me Leo, I don’t want to smell yours either.
Leo covers his mouth and then slowly uncovers it.

LEO
Excuse me but my breath is perfectly fine.

ADAM
Really?

DANIEL
I don’t know about that.

LEO
(dropping the conversation)
Fine, fine, all of you, except Adam because he’s likely to get us out
of this place, follow me.

Students murmur and follow Leo.

ADAM
(inhaling)
Here we go.

Adam super exhales, shaking the warehouse and Leo, Daniel, and Oliver
cover the remaining students so they don’t get hit by the bricks that
are either falling from the roof or flying from the walls. The wall’s
bare insides are shown. Adam looks around in amazement.

ADAM
I did it.

LEO
We need to find something that’ll get us out. I’m sure there’s like
one...

DANIEL
Found it.
 OLIVER
What is it?

LEO
It’s a codepad. We don’t know the numbers that could possibly get us
out.

Adam walks toward the codekey.

ADAM
(matter of fact)
Press 1.

LEO/OLIVER/DANIEL
ADAM! NO!

Adam presses 1 on the codekey and the door opens.

LEO/OLIVER/DANIEL
ADAM! YES!

Everyone flocks to hug Adam.

ADAM
Finally! I get some spotlight for once, and it’s not some
embarrassing play that Davenport made me do in order to “enhance” my
knowledge.

INT. DAVENPORT TOWER PENTHOUSE-DAY

Bree, Kaz, and Davenport are sitting in the living room, still
examining the blue object.

KAZ
It’s clearly some kind of extra Arcturion. Fake Arcturion?

BREE
Well, there’s no effect on my powers when I touch it, so I agree with
you there.

KAZ
I lost Skylar's comms. We can’t be down three members.
 DAVENPORT
Douglas is busy working on remote adjustments to Chase’s magnetism
app.

KAZ
Oh, I wish him best of luck with that.

DAVENPORT
No need to be sarcastic.

SKYLAR (O.S.)
Especially when you have reinforcements.

Kaz, Davenport, and Bree turn around to see Skylar standing there.
However, there is nobody behind her.

BREE
You know, Sky, if you say there’s reinforcements, we kind of expect
there to be reinforcements.

SKYLAR
Wait one second.

Shannon runs in. Kaz, Davenport, and Bree do a double take.

BREE
Scarlett?

SKYLAR
No, that’s not Scarlett. That’s Shannon. And this…

A mass of dust forms in Skylar’s hand. She throws it next to where

Shannon is standing, revealing Horace, Alan, and her pet dorenbosch,
Kakai-Rata-Hee-Haw-Mwuaak-Floopy-Pa-zoing.

KAZ
Horace! Alan!

Kaz runs towards Horace, giving him a high-five.

HORACE
We heard about Oliver and the others. As well as The List situation.

ALAN
 Also, I’m a little sick, but still determined to help in the
shapeshifter fight.

KAZ
I genuinely thought we’d never see you guys again.

HORACE
You know, you can’t keep a good superhero down. And my powers may be
gone, but I’ll always help my friends.

SKYLAR
Well, that’s why I called you in.

KAZ
But where are the other superheroes?

SKYLAR
I called Crossbow, we’re still in contact. She’s talking with the
superheroes now, they’re currently hiding out on Caldera until the
battle begins.

DAVENPORT
So, there’s definitely a battle?

SKYLAR
Oh yes, there’s definitely a battle. They took our two smartest
members.

BREE
Huh. Never expected you to admit that.

SKYLAR
I know these are drastic times. So why not be honest for a change?

HORACE
Speaking of honesty, I think the wormhole generator may be our key to
defeating the shapeshifters. I’m modifying it to be able to teleport
us to the exact location of people, and made some copies. We’ll
arrive there at the same time.

DAVENPORT
Well, somebody’s a genius around here. Nice to meet you at last, Dr.
Diaz. I’m Donald Davenport.
 HORACE
Ah, yes. I’ve heard of you. Nice to meet you too. We need to have an
official meeting.

SHANNON
I think your idea is spectacular, Horace. So where do we start?

KAKAI-RATA-HEE-HAW-MWUAAUK-FLOOPY-PA-ZOING
Skylar, I’m tired!

SKYLAR
I’ll let you sleep in my bed.

BREE
You’re putting that thing in our room?

KAZ
Kakai is not a thing, she is like a Calderan dog. You know? And is it
okay to call her Kakai, Skylar?

KAKAI-RATA-HEE-HAW MWUAAUK-FLOOPY-PA-ZOING
Sure, I can answer to that.

Skylar and Kakai go upstairs.

BREE
You know, that creature reminds me a bit of your friend Gus. You’ve
shown us pictures of him.

KAZ
Yeah, it’s one of those weird things. Though Hapax was Alan’s
grandfather.

Davenport, Shannon, Alan, and Diaz go downstairs to discuss the

wormhole generator.

BREE
So the plan is if we don’t find Chase and Oliver, transport to
wherever there’s a mission alert at the same time that the
superheroes do and see if the shapeshifters are there. If they
are, we all just attack?

KAZ
That’s the plan, yeah. But I’m scared we won’t survive it.
 BREE
Kaz, trust me. We’re strong, we can survive it.

Bree and Kaz lean towards each other, as if they’re going to

kiss. Before they can, the door swings open, revealing Oliver.
Bree and Kaz awkwardly back away.

OLIVER
Hey, guys! I didn’t think the shapeshifter fight would be
complete without me, Adam, Leo, Daniel, and the bionic
students!

EXT. CENTRAL CITY TOWN SQUARE-DAY

Oliver, Kaz, Skylar, and Bree arrive in the square, looking

around for the shapeshifters.

KAZ
I wonder where they’re at… this is the last place we saw all of
them grouped together.

OLIVER
Not going to lie, that sounds kind of weird.

KAZ
Sorry, I mean to say that THIS IS THE LAST PLACE WHERE THEY
TRIED TO KILL US!

An ominous black cloud appears overhead. An UNIDENTIFIED

SHAPESHIFTER falls from the swarm and turns into a TV. The TV
displays Reese torturing Chase in a chamber.

CHASE
No, Reese! You have to stop!

REESE
Nobody can save you from your eternal prison!

CHASE
You’re better than this! Your own father doesn’t care about
you, Reese! As soon as he gets what he wants, he’ll get rid of
you!
 REESE
You’re a liar! Father cares about me and the rest of my
siblings. If it wasn’t for one of your brothers, Roman would
still be alive!

CHASE
Really? And you don’t think that he will do the same thing to
you? From what I’ve heard, you’re his least favorite child!

REESE
SHUT UP!

Reese then continues to torture Chase, as the bionic hero

screams in pain. All Bree can do is watch the entire event
unfold in terror, with the rest of the group completely shocked
that the villains who stole the list would even go to such
lengths as torture.

BREE
We have to save him!

RIKER
Not if we kill you all first!

KAZ
You have got to be kidding me!

The team can only watch as more black swarms enter the area
which they are, as most of the remaining children of Rodissius
form themselves in a group - before some old school villains
show up.

OLIVER
Megahertz?!

KAZ
The Annihilator?!

BREE
Giselle?!

SKYLAR
 And a whole lot of other villains…

KAZ
This could not get any worse…

RODISSIUS
Oh, I think it can, you fools.

Suddenly, Rodissius appears from behind one of the buildings. He

walks towards the heroes, clapping his hands and laughing viciously.

RODISSIUS
Did you all really think that we were the only villains you had to
worry about? No… this is my greatest scheme ever. Taking every one of
you pathetic heroes out has been a lifelong goal of mine, and I will
achieve it tonight.

GISELLE
I’ve been waiting for this moment for years. How would you like it if
I ripped all of you into pieces?

THE ANNIHILATOR
Skylar Storm… you and your friends killed me, but I am here to return
the favor.

RIKER
And your siblings killed my brother! How would it feel if I were to
turn you all into inanimate objects?

KAZ
That was one of my childhood fantasies so I wouldn’t have to think…
but now it’s become a childhood nightmare.

OLIVER
Kaz, this is not the time to be scared!

Suddenly, a mysterious portal opens.

BREE
What’s your game this time, Rodissius?

RODISSIUS
Oh, that wasn’t caused by me.
A hand emerges from the portal, grabbing Kaz and pulling him through.
The portal disappears.

BREE
Oh my god, Kaz! We need him!

RODISSIUS
Ha! You’re already losing! Now there’s only three of you left!

The villains gather behind Rodissius, prepared to attack.

LEO (O.S.)
That’s what you think!

PAN OVER TO: ADAM AND LEO, LEADING THE BIONIC STUDENTS, AND CROSSBOW
AND SHANNON LEADING THE SUPERHEROES

ADAM
And we’re sure as hell ready for the battle of our lives!

CROSSBOW
Did you honestly think that we would not be ready to finish this?

RODISSIUS
No… how?!

TECTON
All of the superheroes that your entire family didn’t kill were safe
on Caldera. Then, we were found by Skylar, and she told us about your
plan. Now it’s gonna get crazy.

RIKER
Please. Like any of you would stand a chance against us.

CRUSHER
I think we will!

REMIX
This ends now.

Rodissius glares at the ensemble of heroes, growing furious that his

plan would be foiled by them.

RODISSIUS
 I did not come here to see my biggest goal be ruined by good for
nothing heroes! I devoted my entire life to being one of you, and I
never got any respect for it! Now, the villain, however… they get
more respect than heroes.

LEO
You really think that we’re afraid of you and your children?

RODISSIUS
You should be, child. Because not only do I have them by my side -
some of the villains from your pasts are here to see you destroyed!

BREE
You’ve done enough. Kidnapping my brother and tearing the team apart
- and even injuring my father? That’s really crossing a line with me.

ADAM
It’s time we showed you all who’s boss.

RODISSIUS
Fair enough. Villains!

The villains stand in a group formation as Rodissius plans to have

them charge against the heroes.

RODISSIUS (CON’T)
KILL THEM!

They then charged as both groups started running towards one another,
before throwing punches and attacking them with powers.

GISELLE
This seems too easy!

THE ANNIHILATOR
Watch yourself!

Giselle is struck in the back by Bree’s proton ring, incapacitating

her.

RIKER
There are too many of them, father!

RODISSIUS
Keep calm, son! Fight them!
 ROLAND
Riker, do a black swarm right now!

Riker proceeds to turn into his black storm, injuring a couple of the
heroes and leaving them unconscious. Skylar then uses her ionikinesis
against Riley, and Oliver freezes Roland in place before punching him
into a building with his super strength.

OLIVER
Even having a small rib cage has its benefits!

SKYLAR
Oliver, focus!

OLIVER
Sorry… got too caught into it.

RODISSIUS
You fools! They’re winning!

LEO
Are you scared now, old man?!

RODISSIUS
Heh… not really. I’ve got something up my own sleeve.

Rodissius screams as he shoots a wave of energy against the group of

heroes, knocking some of them unconscious and giving the other minor
injuries.

REMIX
What do we do?

CROSSBOW
Some of us need to focus on attacking the shapeshifters, while others
can transport the injured ones back to the penthouse.

RICK
I don’t think so!

OLIVER
Oh, crap!
Rick tries to attack Oliver - holding a blade on one hand. Skylar
then sends a blast of kinetic energy to stop the shapeshifter from
killing Oliver.

RODISSIUS
That does it! I have had enough of YOUR DISRUPTIONS FOR MY PLANS! IT
ENDS NOW!!!

Rodissius turns into a gigantic black swarm the size of half a

hurricane.

LEO
Is that normal?

ADAM
At this point, nothing is considered normal.

BREE
We have to stop him! Follow that black swarm!

SKYLAR
Don’t forget about me!

Suddenly, the Annihilator blocks Skylar’s path.

THE ANNIHILATOR
I don’t think so, Skylar Storm. You and I have unfinished business.

OLIVER
SKYLAR!

SKYLAR
Go and stop him! I’ll take care of the Annihilator!

HAPAX
Don’t forget about us.

Skylar then turns around and sees Hapax, Optimo, Alan and Horace
standing behind her. Some of the remaining shape shifter children who
weren’t incapacitated join the villain at his side.

RODERICK
You sure this is going to work, boss?
 RALPHIE
Yeah, they seem dead set on making us… dead.

THE ANNIHILATOR
Don’t be cowards. Now fight!

Roderick, Ralphie, and the remaining children start attacking the

Diaz family, while the Annihilator starts fighting Skylar martial
arts style. She lands a blow to his helmet, cracking it a little bit.
Angered, he does a flip kick and knocks her on the gravel to her
front side. Before she can get up, he puts his boot on her back and
gets out an electric katana.

THE ANNIHILATOR
Goodbye, Skylar Storm.

The Diaz family knocks the remaining children unconscious, before

seeing that Skylar is about to be killed.

ALAN
Skylar! No!

OPTIMO
Not today, pal.

Optimo’s fists start glowing, and he lunges towards the Annihilator -

continuously punching him until the villain, who was formerly known
as Neil, is put into an incapacitated state.

ALAN
Dad? When did you learn to do that?!

OPTIMO
Training with Horace… and also playing Vanquish on the PC. I really
wish they made a sequel to that - oh, and to Metal Gear Rising.

HORACE
Yeah, those action games are fun… but not as fun as roller skating on
a bridge!

Alan runs to Skylar and helps her up.

ALAN
Are you okay?
 SKYLAR
I’m fine, Alan. Thanks for helping out.

ALAN
It was no biggie. Wait… where did the others go?

OPTIMO
For all I know, they’re trying to go make sure Rodissius isn’t
hurting anyone else. I just hope they make it out alive.

CUT TO:

Adam, Leo, Oliver, and Bree run towards Rodissius, as he keeps

attacking the city with different powers - which include lightning
bolts and fireballs.

BREE
I’ve been running as fast as I can and we still are too slow to stop
him!

ADAM
It’s like he keeps getting bigger and more powerful after he causes
more havoc!

LEO
Wait… Oliver, can’t you freeze him, like when Bree told us you froze
Roman and Riker into a ring?

OLIVER
That was a black swarm the size of a humongously large onion ring!
We’re talking about one the size of the biggest steak that’s ever
existed!

BREE
Why are you comparing him to food all of a sudden?

OLIVER
Because after this, I really need to eat. I feel like I’m running out
of energy.

ADAM
I can use my blast wave to direct the ice blast towards him!

LEO
 That may have been the smartest thing you’ve said today, Adam.

ADAM
Eh… I do what I can.

Adam then prepares his blast wave, and Oliver starts getting his hand
cold, forming a cryo blast.
OLIVER
Ready, Adam?

ADAM
You got this, little dude!

OLIVER
In three, two, one… NOW!

Oliver starts blasting ice at the black swarm, before Adam blasts a
humongous wave of energy - making the ice grow on the black swarm
until it falls to the ground and shatters - reverting Rodissius back
to his original form. Coughing up blood from his fall, the villain
gets infuriated at the team’s efforts to thwart his plans.

RODISSIUS
YOU HAVE ANGERED ME SO MUCH! FIRST, YOU ATTACK MY CHILDREN, AND NOW
YOU MAKE ME LOSE ALMOST ALL OF MY NEW POWERS?! I WILL KILL EVERY
SINGLE ONE OF YOU, EVEN IF I HAVE TO RIP THE FLESH FROM YOUR BONES!

OLIVER
I don’t think so. This is for every superhero you’ve injured and
killed.

RODISSIUS
Ha ha ha… let’s see what you get.

Rodissius then forms a big wave of red energy from his hands,
startling the team.

OLIVER
Leo, on the count of three, use your energy transference and put the
wave onto my hand.

LEO
Isn’t that dangerous?

OLIVER
I am willing to risk my life to make sure that Rodissius doesn’t kill
anyone else.

LEO
Okay. Let’s do this.

Leo prepares his energy transference ability, while Oliver forms an

energy blast in his right hand.

OLIVER
On my signal.

RODISSIUS
Your time has come!

OLIVER
Three… two…

RODISSIUS
The world is mine!

OLIVER
Now!

Rodissius throws the energy blast towards them, before Leo transfers
it to his arm and gives it to Oliver - combining the two balls into
one huge source of energy. Oliver then proceeds to blast it towards
Rodissius - fatally injuring him, leaving the father of the shape
shifter family wheezing in pain.

OLIVER (CON’T)
We did it!

RODISSIUS
Don’t celebrate just yet.

ADAM
I do have one question… What is your last name?

LEO
Yeah, we are starting to get curious about it.

RODISSIUS
It’s Tigglesworth.
 BREE
Heh… that’s funny.

RODISSIUS
Enough! (coughs) You children really think you’ve won? I wouldn’t…
(wheezes) plan on victory right now. The claw… (coughs and wheezes)
shall come… and rip… you… apart.

Rodissius then falls flat on his back, dying from his injuries.
Skylar arrives.

SKYLAR
So we finally did it. We finally avenged Mighty Med. Those idiots are
gone forever.

Roland runs up behind Skylar.

ROLAND
Yeah, I’m not so sure about that.

OLIVER
So tell me, Roland, how would you like to die?

ROLAND
I wouldn’t. In fact, I surrender.

SKYLAR
What?

ROLAND
I’m the oldest, so I have the greatest power. And the most thought.

BREE
Unfortunately, that doesn’t apply to all of us.

ADAM
I heard that!

ROLAND
But what I’m saying is, Father deserved that defeat. He didn’t have
to destroy an entire building full of good people to get what he
 wanted. And you might want to move that triangular box with a shiny
purple orb that’s lying right under him. I hear that’s sharp.

Roland fires a blast wave of his own, turning all of his companions
into a black swarm.

ROLAND
I have power over the others.

Roland joins the massive black swarm, and the swarm flies away.

BREE
(sarcastically)
What an amazing story of redemption.

OLIVER
But we lost Kaz. We don’t have Chase either.

BREE
We will get them back, Oliver, I promise. It might take time.

LEO
Well, I guess it’s time to go back to the academy.

BOB
But isn’t that all the way in Hawaii or something?

SPIN
Bob, do you not remember? We all have geo leaping now, after that
huge upgrade.

BOB
Oh yeah.

DANIEL
I bet you’re happy you can do more than your tornados, Spin?

SPIN
Shut up.

ADAM
Well, bye, guys. This was fun.

Adam, Bree, Leo, and Daniel hug.

 BREE
I love you guys so much.

ADAM
Love you too, Bree.

LEO
Good luck on getting Chase back.

BREE
Thanks. I agree, this really isn’t the same without him or Kaz.

Adam, Leo, Daniel, and the students wave and geo leap away. Horace,
Alan, Captain Atomic, and Crossbow walk up.

HORACE
Trust me, we’re all upset that Kaz is missing and want to find him.
Especially if he’s on a bridge.

ALAN
My illness has nearly evaporated.

HORACE
Maybe the death of other shapeshifters around you had an effect on
your shapeshifting abilities?

ALAN
Huh, didn’t think about it like that.

SKYLAR
I’m glad that like 40 of you survived the destruction of Mighty Med.
That’s still a fair number, and it’s nice to have you guys still
kicking around.

CAPTAIN ATOMIC
THis fight was worth the wait. A great evil has been lifted from our
shoulders.

OLIVER
If those shoulders are in pain, you might want to get a hospital.

HORACE
Actually, I’m gathering money to rebuild Mighty Med as soon as we get
back to Philadelphia.
 SKYLAR
Horace, that’s fantastic!

OLIVER
I take it you guys are about to take off?

CAPTAIN ATOMIC
You thought right.

ALAN
Well, bye, guys.

Horace, Alan, and Captain Atomic head to join the other superheroes,
and enter a space portal opened by Shannon.

CROSSBOW
Actually, I’m not going with them. Going to stick around for a little
while.

SKYLAR
That’s great. I do wonder what took Kaz, they seemed to come through
some kind of portal. Doubt it was Shannon, though. Why yank away a
powerful team member during a fight, then come join the fight later?

Suddenly, a dark cloud erupts over a manhole.

OLIVER
Oh no. That can’t be the shapeshifters again. We just defeated them.

An unidentified MASKED FIGURE emerges from the smoke.

MASKED FIGURE
Trust me, the one I am working for is much worse than any old
shapeshifter.

SKYLAR
Who are you?

MASKED FIGURE
Who I am doesn’t matter. Who works with me does.

The masked figure grabs Bree.

 BREE
Hey, let me go!

MASKED FIGURE
Poor bionic girl. You’re exactly who the master is looking for, he’ll
be proud I found another.

OLIVER
Are you connected to the one who took Kaz?

MASKED FIGURE
Perfect. More superheroes to add!

Bree throws a proton disk at the masked figure. The masked figure
responds by blasting Bree in the neck, laughing maniacally. Bree
starts to seize and falls to the ground, unconscious.

SKYLAR/OLIVER/CROSSBOW
BREE, NO!

OLIVER
Great! We’ve lost practically the whole team! And it’s all because of
this stupid thing. That gave Bree, Kaz, and I powers, and also led
shapeshifters to Chase.

Oliver runs to Rodissius’ dead body, pulling out the Arcturion. He

forms an icicle and smashes the glass. The purple orb flies into
Bree’s neck, but Oliver, Skylar, and Crossbow don’t seem to notice.

SKYLAR
Oliver, calm down!

CROSSBOW
I can try to help.

OLIVER
I don’t know if it’ll be enough, Crossbow.

OLiver takes out his phone, and sees a voicemail from Chase.

OLIVER
Chase is okay! He left me a message.

Oliver starts to play the voicemail.

 CHASE (V.O.)
Guys, it’s me, Chase. Turns out, Reese had a change of heart and let
me off the hook. We were also in the Lab the whole time, a prison
cell in here. Not sure how Reese got here, but I escaped and looked
for Tasha, she’s not here. So we have a huge crisis on our hands!
I’ll be home as soon as I can.

SKYLAR
Was that a recording?

OLIVER
Yes, but it proves one thing.

CROSSBOW
And that is?

OLIVER
We need to both help Bree and save Tasha, Kaz, and maybe even Reese.
No matter the cost.
